This week’s Beauty News Roundup is all about the local beauty scene creating inviting new spaces and experiences. Issy opens their latest flagship store, Space Issy, at Glorietta 4, with its own Issy Cafe. Vice Cosmetics releases their new Aura Mochimo Collection and invites everyone to a 2-day immersive event to get acquainted with it. Absidy Beauty collaborates with Jelly Eugenio, releasing a brightening powder foundation and 2-in-1 makeup puff. Blk Cosmetics refines their liquid lipstick game and proudly releases the new Power Lock Liquid Lipstick.

Congratulations are in order for Issy and their newest flagship store in Makati! Drop by Space Issy Ayala Malls Glorietta, located at the second floor of Glorietta 4. The store fully embodies their minimalist branding in tones of black and white with accents of bright red and silver.

The very first Issy Cafe can also be found there. Yes, you can discover all of Issy’s makeup and scents, as well as enjoy a beverage of your choice, on the spot! Or, treat your companion to a drink while you shop your Issy faves.

Vice Cosmetics Aura Mochimo Collection

If you’re a fan of mochi makeup, the new Aura Mochimo Collection from Vice Cosmetics just might be your jam! The collection includes blushes, brontours, highlighters, and even eyeshadow quads–all featuring that addictingly soft, bouncy texture.

Who wouldn’t want to unlock the flawless base makeup that artist Jelly Eugenio delivers every time? Described as “the secret to the #JellyEugenioFilter,” his collaboration with Absidy Beauty just might help achieve that. The Limited Edition Absidy x Jelly Eugenio Brightening Powder Foundation (P895) is designed to deliver the feel of a liquid foundation with the convenience of a radiant powder foundation.

It comes in eight (8) shades: 15 Fair Fresh, 20 Light Fresh, 25 Light-Medium Neutral, 30 Medium Fresh, 35 Medium Neutral, 42 Tan Fresh, and 45 Tan Golden.

It was launched via a TikTok Live with none other than Jelly Eugenio himself on February 5th. The powder foundation sold out even before its official launch date! Absidy promised a restock on the original launch date (February 13th) and as of writing, stocks are disappearing fast. Crossing my fingers that they will be able to meet demand, and eventually stock all online and physical stores!

Blk Cosmetics Power Lock Liquid Lipstick

Who still remembers when Blk launched their first matte liquid lipsticks in 2017? That’s the inspiration for their newest Power Lock Liquid Lipstick (P399), a non-drying matte liquid lipstick that promises to be waterproof and sweat-proof for up to 16 hours of wear.

The Power Lock Liquid Lipstick formula has been refined over the years, improving pigment intensity, wear time, and wearability. It also sports a sleeker look, with a precision tip applicator and a round tube housing.
