GRWM Cosmetics 2026 Summer Collection Review: HydraMist, Power Gloss, and New Cushion Tint Shades

The summer heat is at its peak right now. In terms of beauty, new products from different brands' summer collections refresh not just my makeup stash but also my makeup looks. One of the collections I've been eyeing is the GRWM Summer Collection, which I got a sneak peek of at Watsons BeautyCon 2026. It was released in late March, and while it's a smaller drop than GRWM's 25-piece 2023 summer release, this 2026 one features two all-new products and one crowd favorite reintroduced with the season's exclusive shades. Let's try them out!

GRWM Cosmetics added a new spray to their lineup mostly for hydration, aptly called the HydraMist Multi-Action Setting Spray (P749/150ml, P499/50ml). It's the brand's first-ever setting spray, and unlike fixing sprays that focus on helping makeup last longer, this one focuses on blending makeup and refreshing the skin throughout the day. The lightweight formula uses the HydraLock Complex infused with Caffeine, Glycerin, Panthenol, Aloe Vera Extract, Cucumber Fruit Water, Arginine, and Vitamin E.

GRWM Cosmetics’ HydraMist Multi-Action Setting Spray comes in two sizes (50ml, 150ml)

The brand recommends three ways to use the product. First is for prepping the skin before makeup, second is for setting makeup for a skin-like finish, and last is for hydrating the skin throughout the day. Just remember to always close the cap and keep the bottle away from moisture, heat sources, and direct sunlight.

The HydraMist comes in two sizes: a travel-sized 50ml and a full-sized 150ml bottle. GRWM Cosmetics' founder and CEO, Mae Layug, explained in one of her videos that you can refill the smaller bottle from the bigger one, which is convenient if you're out and about a lot. And while you could technically use a different bottle, I find that the HydraMist nozzle is quite good at spraying out a fine, even mist.

The GRWM summer collection wouldn't be complete without a new lip product. The Power Gloss High Shine Plumping Gloss (P399) delivers a glossy, plumping, moisturizing, and cooling effect that's perfect for the hot summer. The highlight ingredients that make this happen include Peptides, Jojoba Seed Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, and Vitamin E. There are five shades in total, with Private as a Store Exclusive shade and Kitten as a Limited Edition shade.

Casual - medium rose mauve with neutral undertone

Night Talk - translucent deep brown with neutral undertone, and rose & gold fine shimmers

First Love - medium muted nude pink with warm undertone

Private - medium rosewood with warm undertone

Kitten - light milky pink with cool undertone

I honestly love the Power Gloss formula. It makes my lips look plumper and more moisturized. I was also pleasantly surprised with the cooling sensation and how it didn't irritate my lips, especially since they're quite sensitive to anything plumping and cooling. My favorite shades are Casual and Night Talk because of the neutral undertones, but First Love and Private are also good and not overly warm. I only had an issue with the shade Kitten. While the color reminds me of the trendy pale lips back in the 90s, it didn't quite sit well on my lips and accentuated my lip lines, as you can see on my lip swatch. That's why I opted to show the swatch on my hand too, since it could just be my lips having too many lines.

GRWM Cosmetics Summer Collection Lip Products from L-R: Cushion Tint Velvet Lip Stain in Pomegranate and Hibiscus, Power Gloss in Private, Night Talk, Kitten, Casual, and First Love

Aside from the new products, GRWM added new summer-exclusive shades to the Cushion Tint Velvet Lip Stain (P449), which debuted in last year's summer collection. The formula keeps its key ingredients of Squalane, Sunflower Seed Oil, and Grapeseed Oil. The shades Hibiscus and Pomegranate also come with a unique summer flower pattern on the cap.

This is my first time trying out these GRWM tints, and I like the two new shades they came out with. The Cushion Tints also leave a nice stain on the lips, which my pale lips need. The only caveat I found is that I couldn't layer them with the Power Gloss because doing so made everything sticky and gloopy, so I'm just using them separately. Pomegranate gives a nice flush of color on the lips, while Hibiscus is a good nude for my light-medium skin.

Overall, the GRWM Cosmetics 2026 Summer Collection is filled with products that can be part of your next staples list. The HydraMist refreshes and sets, while the Power Gloss gives you the juicy pout of the summer. The shade extensions for the Cushion Tints are both good neutrals that can be your next daily drivers if you prefer a less glossy lip. Ultimately, the choice is yours, on your own terms, true to GRWM Cosmetics' ethos.

GRWM products are available at the brand's official Shopee and Lazada stores online. You can also purchase products at their website or look up physical retail stores at the store locator page.
