Explore: Estée Lauder opens its first stand-alone store in the PH
Estée Lauder has just opened its very first stand-alone boutique in the country at SM Aura, and the Project Vanity team was among the first to browse its dazzling display of beauty goodies. The boutique is an interactive #beautyplayground and it’s only the second one in the world with this design concept!
The store is beautifully set up with millennials in mind. Estee Lauder has always had classic interiors, but to be more relatable to younger beauty lovers, they've created a fun space to allow us to discover and try their latest releases.
The store is divided into several "play areas" for beauty lovers to explore. The first one we spotted was Kendall’s Corner. The wall was covered by photos of our favorite Kardashian-Jenner sister, and of course, her favorite Estée Lauder products like the Pure Color Envy Sculpting EyeShadow 5-Color Palette and Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion in Lethal Red. Kendall's fun, youthful and chic vibe is apparent in the makeup picks from this corner, and you should definitely take the opportunity to swatch the new Pure Color Envy Sculpting Gloss and Lacquers that she's endorsing.

Fellow PV writer Kim and I posted our "beauty wishes". Mine came true soon after, but Kim may have to wait a bit longer for hers. :p
What are wishes for if they can't come true? Our next stop at the beauty playground is definitely my favorite – The 3 Minute Beauty, the ultimate treat-yo'-self routine! You can choose from an extensive menu of quick makeovers, or ask the accommodating beauty consultants to for a custom look.
Which one to pick? I wanna try them all!
Kim picked Fatigue Fighter, a makeover that promises to “revive, brighten and energize eyes" with the brand's best products and special techniques. After removing Kim’s eye makeup with Estee Lauder’s makeup remover, the beauty consultant applied Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum (P4,150) under Kim’s eyes. She then applied Double Wear Stay-in-Place High Cover Concealer SPF35 (P1,600) with the exact shade as Kim’s skin tone around her eyes by drawing a small “C” on inner corner of eye then a larger “C” at the outer corner. The beauty consultant repeated the process but this time, with a lighter shade of concealer. It was amazing to watch because you could see how high quality makeup can make three minutes look like eight hours of sleep!
The kindly beauty consultant gave her a treat and also did her eyebrows with Brow Now Brow Defining Pencil in Brunette (P1,430). She even gave us a beauty tip on how wearing just concealer around your eyes could really brighten your face instantly!

When my turn came, I had a hard time choosing from the menu because I wanted to try all of them! So I just said I wanted to look like Kendall and the beauty consultant focused on recreating her pout. She applied Double Wear Brush-On Glow BB Highlighter (P1,850) around and over the edges of my lips to create a crisper lip line. Then she carefully swiped on Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion in Lethal Red (P1,615), Kendall’s shade! I loved it so much, I'm currently saving up for a tube!
I was surprised that using just two products instantly brightened my face!
Bonus: This red lipstick makes my teeth appear whiter as well!
Of course, the store also carries Estée Lauder’s skincare picks and fragrances, which are both big favorites here on Project Vanity. They provide disposable applicators for the products so you can try them out (and find out why we keep raving about them!) without fear of contamination.
They also have an ongoing promo for the first 100 customers to purchase P4,000 worth of Estée Lauder products at the new store. The customers will receive a chic Opening Ceremony for Estée Lauder cosmetics pouch with skincare and makeup must-haves.
