Rare Beauty's new perfume is now at Sephora PH
No pasabuy required for this one. Rare Beginnings Eau de Parfum(P5,800 / 50ml), Rare Beauty's second fragrance, is now available exclusively at Sephora Philippines. It opens on pear nectar, settles into gardenia, and dries down on warm vanilla bean, a distinctly brighter and fruitier direction than the warm, spicy original Rare EDP.
Selena Gomez's brand is also selling it as a layering system rather than a single note. Two new Fragrance Layering Balms, Sweet Marshmallow for something creamier and Fruity Pear for something fresher, let you tune the scent depending on your mood. It's the kind of build-your-own approach that's been taking over fragrance, and it's a smart way to make one bottle feel like three.
Luxasia's Swing & Scent pop-up is at SM Aura until September
If you've been meaning to find your signature scent and keep putting it off, here's your deadline. Luxasia's Swing & Scent Pop-Up is running at SM Aura from August 1 to September 15, featuring three houses with very different personalities: Burberry, Chloé, and Marc Jacobs. That's a solid spread, whether you lean toward something crisp and tailored, soft and romantic, or bright and playful.
What sets this apart from your usual department store counter is the format. The pop-up is built as an immersive experience with interactive activities, so instead of being handed a paper strip and a hard sell, you actually get to wander, play, and let your nose lead. Colourette has reformulated its cult juicy lip stain into something jellier and more cushiony, added a refreshing melon scent, and expanded the range to 16 shades. Eight of them are the OG lineup you already know (Squish, Cider, Melty, Sizzle, Juju, Zing, Pebble, and Fling), now riding the upgraded base.
The other eight are where things get interesting. Bubba, Nata, Scramble, Chia, Yuzu, Popsie, Lychee, and Churro make up a new desaturated range built for the muted, my-lips-but-jellier look that's been dominating everyone's feeds. The formula promises a high-shine, transfer-resistant stain that hydrates without the sticky drag. It also claims to get juicier the longer you wear it, which I fully intend to test.
Generation Happy Skin's new blush changes color on your face
Generation Happy Skin's back-to-school drop is called Main Character Energy, and it's aimed squarely at the girls whose day starts with a first class and ends with plans they didn't tell their parents about. The collection bundles four launches: the Color-Changing Powder Blush (P499), the Blush Balm in Color Adapt (from P349), the Powder Velvet Tint (from P299), and the Eyebrow Pencil Duo (from P299).
The color-changing blush is the most exciting part of this launch. It goes on as a soft pastel in Lemon Pink, Coral Pink, or Blue Lilac, then transforms into a flush calibrated to your own skin tone and undertone. Lemon warms into a cool pink, coral deepens into a warm pink, and blue lilac melts into, well, lilac. If you'd rather bundle, Happy Skin is also running a Color-Changing Powder Blush + Velvet Tint duo at P799 (down from P898).
Vice Cosmetics revived the One & Done Sticks
The ON THE DAILY One & Done Sticks are back with a new look, new shades, and a creamier formula, plus the same long wear and do-anything versatility. There are three in the lineup: the Blush Stick, the Brontour Stick, and the Highlighter Stick, all built for eyes, cheeks, and lips, and all at P295.
The pitch is efficiency, which is the whole point of a multi-stick: one product, three placements, no brushes required. They're available on TikTok Shop, Shopee, and Lazada.
