Beauty Roundup: Pimple patches, a new foundation, and a Kar-Jenner toothpaste?!

What’s good, PV fam! Happy weekend! We hope you enjoyed the restful Easter break and are now fired up for yet another beauty news roundup. This time around we’re talking about a K-beauty staple that’s gone local, a new foundation (with A TON of shade options), and Kendall’s new toothpaste (we know, it’s weird, but we’re curious). And as we steel ourselves for the big battle on Monday, we’re cooling our nerves with even more Game of Thrones makeup!

All patched up

The secret’s out! Homegrown brand Happy Skin Cosmetics has just launched their own take on a Korean skincare fave. Say goodbye to stressing over nasty zits, and hello to the Happy Skin Beauty Invisible Pimple Patch! Infused with cica, these little patches are not only undetectable on the skin, but provide immediate pimple treatment. Priced at P175, one sheet contains 15 pimple-fighting patches but take advantage of their ongoing promo to get a buy 1, take 1 deal exclusively on BeautyMNL.

For the throne

The Urban Decay x Game of Thrones makeup collection may (sadly) be sold out, but don’t worry GoT fans because Covergirl has their own little spin on Westerosi makeup! The Covergirl Overthrown Eyeshadow Palette ($15) is a 12-pan eyeshadow palette filled with smoky shades perfect for a light to extra dramatic eye looks. Although it isn’t an official collaboration, the packaging alone makes this eye shadow palette look like something Sansa Stark would approve of. Would you try out this palette?

50 shades of flawless

When it comes to revolutionizing the makeup game, Anastasia Beverly Hills is one of the top brands that really pushes hard to come up with newer, fresher, and more inclusive products. Aside from the Dip Brow Gel, Loose Highlighters, and Setting Sprays, the brand has just confirmed that a new foundation is in the works, and it will be available in 50 shade options! So far, we know that the foundation will have a dewy and long-wearing natural finish as well as a vegan formulation and problem-free ingredients. No word yet on the name or final packaging but we can expect this foundation to drop in August of this year. We’ll keep you posted as more details become available!

She’s over the moon!

The beauty world has basically seen it all. From celebrity collaborations to limited-edition collections and even launching their own brands, more and more of our favorite stars are venturing into the billion-dollar beauty industry with new ideas and crazy products. So it’s no surprise that model and reality TV star Kendall Jenner is the latest to hop on the bandwagon, but her latest project was admittedly... unexpected. Although she has endorsed numerous beauty brands, Kendall is now lending her name and her brain (she’s a co-founder) into Moon, a hip new oral care brand that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but “works.” Set to launch in May 2019, the brand will offer a Teeth Whitening Pen ($19.99), Activated Charcoal Peppermint Toothpaste ($8.99), Fluoride-Stain Removal Toothpaste ($7.99), Black Matte Toothbrushes ($6.99), and even dental floss. Is this the key to a truly pearly white smile? We’re looking forward to the reviews!
