This week’s Beauty News Roundup is for those who are always on the go. If I were to pack my Beauty Go Bag, these new launches (and comebacks) are definitely solid candidates. First up is Squad Cosmetics with their massive Color Library customizable palette launch. The Colourette Velvetints are back and better, for that long-wearing velvet lip with staining power. Careline’s OG Oil Control Blush On gains not one, not two, but TEN new shades! Last but not least, our favorite affordable Hello Glow Hairsaver Dry Shampoo is now available in two unique scents.

Squad Cosmetics Color Library
The ultimate space-saving makeup item in your beauty kit: a face palette. What makes it even better? If you can customize what goes into it, of course! Squad Cosmetics has definitely made that possible with their new Color Library collection. The collection includes over 100 pan inserts that you can mix and match to your heart’s delight, and refillable palette cases to put them in.

They definitely did not hold back. There are two palette sizes available called the Look Book and the Look Book Mini (P99). As for the palette inserts, there are so many options when it comes to texture, finish, and color. For face color, there are the Soft Blush (P99), Natural Flush (P89), Baked Highlighter (P129), Contour Cream (P99), Glow Cream (P99) and Cloud Skin powder (P119). There are also quite a few options for lip color: the Lip Glow (P79), Lip Blur (P79), and Gel Stain (P79). There are a plethora of Eyeshadow (P89) shades to choose from, with either a shimmer or matte finish.

For now, the collection is available exclusively online via your favorite shopping apps. The Look Book Mini (P99) is also the only option available so far for the refillable palette. Keeping my eyes peeled for the release of the bigger palette. Also hoping these would be available in-store soon for a legendary swatchfest!

Colourette Velvetint Comeback
As part of Colourette’s 10th anniversary, the OG Velvetint (P429) is re-released! This crowd favorite captured hearts by blurring the line between a liquid lipstick and a lip stain. It gives one-swipe color with a blurring soft-focus finish and leaves a transfer-resistant stain that stays put all day.

Let’s take a look at the original ten (10) shades: Peach Glow, Tangerine, Pink Prism, Rosy Cheek, Starlight Shine, Coral Craze, Fresh Tomato, Brick Rose, Red Velvet, and Berry Pop. A quick glance tells me that they lean more neutral to warm, with just a couple of shades that have cooler undertones.
