In a surprising move, Issy Cosmetics is giving away their previously unreleased Pressed Velvet Inserts for FREE. On October 15th, the brand released a video of Issy co-founders Joel Martin Andrade and Slo Lopez explaining what happened. “Product development isn’t just about picking a shade or texture — it’s months of trials, tests, and waiting. We did all that. We loved this formula. But outside the lab, the formula didn’t behave the same way. The blush shrank, cracked, and broke inside its pan — not because it wasn’t good, but because its packaging couldn’t protect it.
