I’ve Got The Powder (Kiss)

Who doesn’t love a good new formula? Well, it looks like MAC Cosmetics took New York Fashion Week as the perfect opportunity to spill the beans on their latest venture - a new formula for their matte lipsticks! Dubbed “Powder Kiss,” the newest line of lipsticks promises the same pigmentation but with a lip balm feel on the lips. Dare we say it’s super moisturizing but still matte?! We’re not too sure if there will be new shades or just a reformulation of the classics like Ruby Woo and Whirl, but we can’t wait to test these babies out when they launch in October!

We Are So Down (Under)

Are you a fan of cruelty-free vegan makeup and on the lookout for new brands to try? BeautyMNL is making it a little easier to be committed to sustainable beauty! Australis Cosmetics is one of the top 100% vegan makeup brands sold in Australia. With 30 years under their belt, the brand has been considered a favorite for animal lovers. I haven’t yet tried anything from the brand but I’m super curious about the Blemish Buster Primer (P595), Liquid Strobe Drops (P545), Fill Em In Micro Brow Pencil (P445), and the Bye Bye Blemish Concealer (P395). Some of the products are already sold out, so better hurry and snap some for yourself! Shop Australis here.

Crown Pleaser

I think that at one point in our childhood (or, in my case, up to present day) we’ve all dreamt of becoming princesses. From the classic fairytale story books to the beautifully drawn Disney animations, there’s just something so magical about the gowns and the crowns. Now, ColourPop Cosmetics is taking our fantasies and turning them into a reality, without breaking our bank accounts!

Launching on September 28, the limited-edition Disney Designer Collection boasts of lipstick for each princess, lip glosses, highlighters, single shadows, and a huge eyeshadow palette! The adorable packaging shows Jasmine, Snow White, Tiana, Belle, Cinderella and Ariel with super chic modern makeovers.) We are living for the Super Shock Cheek in A Smile and A Song ($8), the Ultra Glossy Lip in Boo ($6), It’s a Princess Thing Pressed Powder Palette ($20), and of course, the Lux Lipsticks ($7) in Snow (bright red), Tiana (berry), Belle (mauve), and Jasmine (hot pink)! But let’s be honest: we want it all! You can shop the magical collection on the ColourPop site here.
