Beauty Roundup: Detail Cosmetics Water Tints, The So Soft Collection by Em Cosmetics, Jeffree Star’s pink collection, and Guerlain’s new creative director!

Belated National Lipstick Day! What lipstick did you wear yesterday? I wore the NARS Audacious Lipstick in Audrey. Anyway, it’s Friday again, which means it is time for another beauty roundup. This week, we’re talking about new releases from Detail Cosmetics, Em Cosmetics, and Jeffree Star Cosmetics, and the new creative director of Guerlain!

Test the Waters

Detail Cosmetics just released their newest product - Water Tint, which is a water-gel hybrid lip and cheek tint that is enriched with rose water for added hydration. The Water Tint (P149) comes in 7 different shades - Boy Beat (cool cold brew), Golden Hour (warm dried fig), Wine (deep berry), Blood (deep cherry red), Chili (true chili red), Sunkissed (blood orange), and Crush (rose bud pink).

A Soft Spot

The So Soft Collection by Em Cosmetics features 6 silky blushes and 4 blendable contours and bronzers (called Multi Faceplay). These cheek products have a satin finish and are air-whipped and skin-like in terms of texture. Oh, and they’re formulated with squalane and vitamin E.

Think Pink

The newest collection from Jeffree Star Cosmetics is all about the color pink. In fact, it’s so pink that it’s called the Pink Religion Collection. What you’ll find in the collection are an 18-pan eyeshadow palette, a 3-pan highlighter palette, 8 lipsticks, 4 lip balms, the brand’s first face mist, 4 hand mirrors, and a backpack. Trust Jeffree Star to go all out when it comes to his releases.

Violette for Guerlain

French makeup artist Violette Serrat, who we all know as Violette on YouTube, is the new makeup creative director for Guerlain, succeeding Olivier Echaudemaison after 21 years. I, for one, am really looking forward to her debut collection.

“I’m so happy to be joining an iconic Maison with such a rich heritage, where I can pass Guerlain’s values in makeup on to a new generation and share it with those who, no matter their gender, celebrate beauty today and will celebrate it tomorrow,” shared Violette.

Okay, that’s it for this week! See you again next Friday!
