AERIN Beauty: More new counters opening in the PH

As the granddaughter of the luxury mega-brand namesake’s Estée Lauder, Aerin Lauder knows a thing or two about class and beauty. She has held various key positions in Estée Lauder since 1992, and decided to start her own brand twenty years later.

A working mother of two, Aerin Lauder believes that living beautifully should be effortless. With this in mind, she curated a collection of nine feminine and luxurious fragrances and body products for AERIN Beauty.

AERIN Beauty currently carries nine fragrances: Gardenia Rattan, Amber Musk, Lilac Path, Ikat Jasmine, Evening Rose, Iris Meadow, Waterlily Sun, Mediterranean Honeysuckle, and Tangier Vanille. All nine fragrances are available in 50ml (P6,780) and 100ml (P9,490) Eau De Parfum Sprays, while select fragrances are available as Eau De Parfum Rollerballs (P1,700 for 8ml). Each fragrance has its own story, reflected olfactorily by the scent progression and visually by the paintings on the box packaging. The clear, rectangular bottles are elegantly uniform, but easily told apart by an irregular, colored stone set upon the golden caps.

The Body Creams (P3,390 for 150ml) come in the same nine Parfum fragrances, loaded with both moisture and AERIN’s signature delicate fragrances. AERIN suggests layering a mismatched fragrance-body cream combination to maximize the complexity of their fragrance formulations.

More to this point: what we love about AERIN Beauty fragrances is that while the names are misleadingly simple, the fragrances are deeply rich and complex. They don't just smell lovely - they evoke a picturesque scene that transforms your mood for the better. My favorite is the Waterlily Sun Eau De Parfum, which make me think not just of the flower but a pond bathed in sunlight, with dragonflies flitting about and a spring breeze gently blowing! Hours later, the scent matures but it's still one that's anchored in that first whiff of water lily.

AERIN is currently available in Estée Lauder Rustan’s Makati and Rustan’s Shangri-La. It will soon be available in Estée Lauder SM Megamall and SM Makati, and eventually SM Aura and Rustan’s Cebu.
