DKNY Fresh Blossom Intense

If you've always loved the DKNY Delicious scents (as I do!), then I think you'll be pleased to find out that there's a new collection that improves on their best assets. The original scents are radiant and flirty - perfect as they are really - but with the Delicious Eau So Intense Collection you get intensified versions of the brand's three amazing fragrances.

Intriguing eh? It's either the entire concentration of the fragrance has been increased, or one aspect of it has been singled out. I've been using the DKNY Fresh Blossom Eau So Intense these past weeks, and true enough there's a heavier, more sensible edge to the fragrance. It lasts longer on my clothes and skin too!

Rose and lily of the valley notes get more attention in the new Fresh Blossom Eau So Intense. The once-delicate floral, inspired by the fragile but potent blooms on an apple tree, made more nuanced by ramping up the concentration of two of the most celebrated notes in perfumery. The result is a more textural, intense floral bouquet that is long lasting and fresh.

This scent is like a bouquet of flowers in the afternoon. They're not dewy, sparkling fresh anymore because they were picked in the morning, but that's not a bad thing. The sweetish heart of the flowers is just starting to waft out as the sun begins to set - an entirely more sensual experience.

Funny story: I haven't read the marketing literature on the Fresh Blossom Intense when I started using it. I usually spritz my DKNY perfumes four times - one on each shoulder, wrist (I pat some of it behind my ears), then a final cloud of mist for my clothes. I was accustomed to the light touch of the original formula!

That's why I was so confused when the new Fresh Blossom made my nose tingle with irritation. Why did I smell like I dipped myself in a tub of perfume? It took me a few uses to figure out, d'oh. Now I only spritz the DKNY Intense variant two times, once on my wrist then on my clothes.

So yes, these Intense scents are pretty economical to use. :) You must also check out the Be Delicious Eau So Intense (apple and wood) and Golden Delicious Eau So Intense (orange blossom), the two other variants in the collection to see what would suit you best.

And that's it. Do you care for intense perfumes?

Delicious Eau so Intense Collection can be found in all Rustan’s Department Stores, Landmark Department Stores and selected SM Department Stores for P3,600/50 ml and P4,800/100ml.
