Sephora Haul: My top contouring & highlighting picks for all budgets

Sephora is a cournocopia of color and texture online. I can't say enough how happy I am that we have access to it here in the Philippines, finally! Shipping is so fast, too. I normally get my items in less than five days and in perfect condition since they're carefully wrapped in layers of bubble plastic. As it happens Sephora has an Independence Day promo where shipping is free for five days from today. Awesome, yes?

And so today I want to talk about my latest Sephora haul. If you're looking to amp up your contour and highlighting game, these are the best you can get in the virtual store. I have three suggestions for different budgets that I think you'll love as much as I do. Ready, set, define!

Under P1,000: Sleek Face Form Contouring & Blush Palette in Medium

Only P737, this trio is a good deal. I've actually reviewed the Light palette before and it is the bomb. I've been using it since I got it and I never fail to get asked what's on my skin every single time! The Medium palette is richly pigmented so very little goes a long way. I love how the colors suit my skin tone to a T and give me that that sculpted look with not a lot of effort.

Under P2,000: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector (Pressed) in Opal

I've always wanted to try Becca's iconic Opal, so I was most excited to have this in my highlighter collection. As you know highlighting is important in defining the face so a good quality one is as much as a must-have as a dark shade.

This highlighter exceeded all my expectations. It's just as pretty, creamy, and luxurious as the Internet promised! It draws in light like no other highlighter I own so far, and just a small amount is enough to lift and brighten my face. I love it. It's P1,943 at Sephora so it is a splurge but one that I think you'll definitely be using up to the dregs.

Under P3,000: Cover FX Contour Kit in G Medium Deep

If you're looking for a natural contour that can pass off as skin, I think you'll enjoy this cream palette. The G Medium Deep quad has shades that seem to be made for NC35 (mid-yellow) complexions. It's my perf match! The coverage is light to medium, so this can actually be used as foundation if you prefer to sculpt out your features first thing.

I hear makeup artists love this for getting that flawless look. It's P2,613 but it's a worthy investment if you're doing makeup professionally or just really love contouring. The texture is ridiculously creamy and easy to blend. Staying power rocks, as expected of Cover FX. I hope to post a full review of this palette one of these days!

So there you go, my top face defining picks! If you're jonesing for any of these, you HAVE to take advantage of Sephora's 5 days of free shipping starting today until June 17. Yes, free shipping! Now's the perfect time to grab the items on your wishlist, no matter what your budget is. ^_^

Let me know what you're getting, or if you've tried any of the above!
