Why I LOVE the Saborino Shampoo and Treatment Moist duo for my dyed hair

My hair has always been one of the physical attributes I pay most attention to but only last year did I really learn how to care for it properly. I have also become more confident in exploring different styles and colors so my hair has been through a lot - to say the least.

I am fresh from my fifth dye job of the year so I decided to put the Saborino Shampoo Moist (P995 / 440ml) and the Saborino Treatment (Conditioner) Moist (P995 / 440ml) to the test! For reference, I recently cut my hair to add some body back to my hair, added V-Light Extensions to my curtain bangs, and currently have blue peekaboo hair, so a moisturizing hair care regimen is a must!

When I first tried this combination, I applied a pump of the Treatment Moist to the ends of my hair and left it to soak as I massaged the Shampoo Moist into my roots and scalp. This system of product application is what works best for my wavy hair type because it ensures hydration to the ends of the strands while cleansing any oil or product build up on the scalp and roots.

Both of these products have a very mild apple scent that adds to the refreshing experience of applying the products during my showers. The Treatment Moist has a lightweight lotion-like texture that can easily be spread throughout your locks while the Shampoo Moist has a light gel-like texture that offers a gentle lather.

I was shocked to experience an instant change to my hair’s texture once it dried down. I was able to notice that even the most bleached strands were left feeling silky enough to run my hands through even without having to comb through my hair and manageable enough to style into sleek hairstyles without the need of my usual styling products - and that was with just a single pump of the Treatment Moist.

The Shampoo Moist was also great at not weighing down my roots as the day passes by which is an issue I face with most shampoos. This combo really left my hair silky, manageable, and looking like I gave it a luscious salon blow out even throughout a day full of errands. Even in the harshest mall lighting, there is minimal appearance of frizz and no product build up by the scalp!

Another experience I would like to highlight is that as a wavy-haired girl, humidity is my nemesis and with it being an essential part to the Metro Manila experience, I always fear my hair frizzing up and casting a haggard effect on the rest of my appearance.

Happy to report that this is one of the few products that actually owns up to its anti-static claims. Even after just waking up, my hair is still manageable and not frizzy from the friction from my pillow. My roots are also not weighed down by product build-up as seen in the picture:

I highly recommend this combo to those “in a pinch for time but need to look like I am put together throughout the entire day” individuals. This Sabirono duo has an innovative quick-dry formula that leaves your hair with a blowdry finish even as you venture through your day in the Filipino heat.

As an always on-the-go wavy-haired girl currently in her adventurous hair color era, I can say that the Saborino Shampoo Moist and the Saborino Treatment (Conditioner) Moist currently sit at the top of my list of must-have hair products. Try it too!

Saborino is available on Beautybox’s website and official stores on Lazada and Shopee.
