Drop everything right now because Heroine Make is back in the Philippines

I’ve been keeping this secret for over a year and finally, I can shout it out to the world! Heroine Make, the world-famous mascara brand from Japan, is back in the Philippines! They make one of my HG mascaras, Long & Curl, so I’m glad that I don’t have to wait for my next Japan or Hong Kong trip to get my hands on it again.

I first tried the Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara nine years ago, the first time I visited Tokyo. It’s prominently displayed in all the beauty drugstores so I just had to give it a chance! There are only a few mascaras that, for me, can match it in terms of its curling, lengthening, volumizing, and staying power. I’ve tried other mascaras in the past decade but I keep coming back to this.

Now that Heroine Make is here to stay in the Philippines through Beautybox Corp. (same distributor of well-loved J-beauty brands like K-Palette, Cure Aqua Gel, and Himawari to name a few), let’s look at their initial product offering here!

Of course, they brought in the Heroine Make Volume Up Mascara Super Waterproof and Long Up Mascara Super Waterproof (both P795 at shop.beautyboxcorp.com), which are the bestsellers from the brand. These are repackaged and renamed, so my favorite Long & Curl would be the Long Up Mascara. Expect these mascaras to magnify your lashes and keep them curled all day, with zero smudging. No need to use falsies! As a lazy false lash person, I rely on mascaras like these to keep my eyes looking glam without the weight.

They also brought in “support” products to keep us happy on our lash journey: the Heroine Make Curl Keep Mascara Base (P720 at shop.beautyboxcorp.com) and the Speedy Mascara Remover (P575). The Curl Keep thickens lashes so that the mascara has more body to hold on to - perfect for super fine lashes like mine! The Mascara Remover is designed specifically to dissolve Heroine Make mascaras since they are famous for being tough to remove.

Last but not least, they’ve got the Smooth Liquid Eyeliner Super Keep (P720) which is a waterproof eyeliner. There are three shades: Jet Black, Bitter Brown, and Brown Black. I’ve also tried this previously and it is indeed quite waterproof! I also love the applicator since it’s a calligraphy brush. It’s bendy and easy to move around to fine shapes.

I’ll do some TikToks/ IG story on these soon! In the meantime, come check them out in Beauty Bar stores (for the physical stores) and online at shop.beautyboxcorp.com, Shopee, Lazada, BeautyMNL, and Zalora. Note that there are a lot of fake ones online, so shop only in the official stores!

Have you tried Heroine Make?
