Budget Beauty: Bury your eye bags with these 5 under P500 liquid concealers

Tired of being told you look stressed and puyat? That might mean that your dark circles and puffy eyes are more apparent than you realized. Lack of sleep isn’t the only cause for them though; they may also be genetic or a result of an allergic reaction. Whatever the reason, you can fake fresh-looking peepers with a bit of help from liquid concealer!

We love this type of formula best as it allows for great coverage without feeling thick or cakey, assuming that you apply it correctly and use a good product, of course. The liquid formula is easier to blend, too, so you don’t tug at the delicate skin of your eye area. And if you’re on a tight budget? No problem! We’ve got five liquid concealers that will get those bags packing without breaking the bank!

Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer (~P300, SM Beauty)

This little-known drugstore brand continues to wow us. Liz has raved about their Camouflage Cream Concealer, and now we have its liquid counterpart! It's not quite as heavy coverage as the pot concealer, but it has buildable medium coverage that can cover normal bags. It’s creamy enough to blend on the eye area but still has enough hold so it doesn’t slip around or need to be set with powder. It seems to have a brightening effect and is long-lasting, so pull this one out next time you’ll be watching a tear-jerker!

Holika Holika Covermazing Superfine Dual Concealer (~P300, Holika Holika counters)

Why buy two products when you can get two functions out of one? This dual-ended concealer has a liquid formula on one end and a stick formula hiding inside the cap! The liquid concealer has a lightweight, gel-like consistency that’s perfect for those with dry undereye areas. Afterwards, replace the doe-foot applicator and remove the small top cap to reveal a retractable concealer pencil to cover up spots.

NYX HD Concealer (P360, NYX counters and Zalora)

Often compared to the NARS Creamy Concealer and the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer, this offers close to the same performance for less than half the price. It packs a punch in coverage but is still creamy enough so it doesn’t settle on any fine lines. It also comes in different concealer shades as well as corrector shades (like green, yellow, and orange), so you’re more likely to find a match that perfectly blends with your skin.

L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Concealer (P400, department stores)

L’Oreal’s True Match range has been hailed for having a wide range of colors, including shades that suit darker Asian skin tones. No reverse panda eyes here! Lightweight, blendable yet offering impressive coverage, it’s a must-have for no-makeup makeup looks as it looks exactly like your skin, only better. It kinda creases but it's easy enough to pat away when needed.

Ever Bilena EB Advanced Liquid Concealer in Medium (P140, department stores)

Though labeled as a concealer, it’s best to use this as an orangey-yellow corrector for severely dark circles. The formula is very wet and runny, so apply only a small amount at a time, but the added moisture can be helpful for dry undereye areas. Allow this to set and dry completely before topping with a concealer that matches your skin tone; you’ll probably need less product since this already corrects the dark blue and purple tones!
