Tatcha way (uh-huh uh-huh) I like it

Another day, another BIG acquisition in the beauty world! According to WWD, it has been confirmed that corporate giant Unilever has acquired skincare company Tatcha for a whopping $500 million! Although the exact terms and details of the deal weren’t revealed, the luxury skincare brand is now part of the impressive Unilever portfolio and joins brands like Murad, REN Clean Skincare, Hourglass, Living Proof, and Kate Somerville. Tatcha is reported to bring in $100 million in net sales this 2019, which made them an attractive acquisition for Unilever, not to mention the company’s goal to support and expand women-founded businesses. This is also one of Unilever’s biggest acquisitions to date. We’re excited to see what’s next for Tatcha, and hope we’ll be seeing them in the Philippines soon!

What would Winnie do

Despite just launching her KKW Beauty Body Foundations, the reality star turned beauty mogul just revealed on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians that she is, in fact, working on a makeup collection with supermodel Winnie Harlow! The Canadian model and vitiligo (skin condition) advocate has graced many red carpets and even headlined in several beauty campaigns, so the news has tons of fans excited for this (still) secret collab. Could there be a red lipstick? Bold eye shadows? A poppin new highlighter? There aren’t any details yet but knowing Kim, we can expect a lot of clues and teasers on Instagram! Have you tried anything from KKW Beauty?

Shimmer me timbers!

Okay, I know we just featured her new flawless foundation collection last week but Pat McGrath is slaying the beauty world once again with yet another beauty drop. The “Mother of Makeup” has launched the glittery lipstick collection of our dreams! The new BlitzTrance Lipstick ($38) is a smooth, creamy lippie with maximum shine for a “glitter lips” look, minus all that chunky and over-the-top glitter feel. Infused with finer pearl pigments and rich emollients, these lippies are not only creamier, but are more hydrating and comfortable to wear. Shop Pat McGrath on Sephora Philippines here.
