SAC People: Save the environment with your weakness for all things cute and quirky

Hey folks! I have a couple of meetings plus unplanned errands later so I won't be able to post my step-by-step graduation makeup tutorial as I originally planned. I was so excited to write about it pa naman! 36 photos for the win! But it's not to be. Not today.

In the meantime, let me just quickly share this super cute quirky eco bag that I got in the mail last week.

Yes, this is a reusable bag although it could easily pass for a chew toy Snaps will love. He did in fact try to slap it around and have marvelous fun with it, but of course I can't let him have his way! I need every eco bag I can get my hands on more so if they look like this SAC People Bag.

Compact? Check. Light? Check. Conversation piece? Double check! Well I wish the material is thicker to accommodate heavier things, but I have other eco bags for that purpose. This is for shoes, clothes or makeup shopping, light laundry. Things like that. Don't try it with groceries!

The wrinkliness of the material can be disappointing at first. As I got used to it though I just think of the wrinkles as character. :P

I am definitely bringing this around with me! It's always wise to have an eco bag or two on hand. ;) I know that Sac People has dozens of other designs so you might want to check that out for yourself! I don't have information on availability but I will update this post when I do. :D

Do you bring a reusable tote in your bag?

Cute! This would definitely come in handy when shopping at the mall! It's so tiny you can just put one in your bag and never find yourself having to walk around with your purchases wrapped in paper, like they do in SM department stores! Haha.

I carry totes like this in my bag all the time. Its so kaka when you purchase something and they wrap it with paper bag, much worse if they use the manipis na paperbag.

This would look great as a bag charm! At the same time you'd have a reusable bag, without adding to the contents of your current bag. Nice!

Nyahaha! What a cool concept :) And most definitely a conversation starter as you said! Eco-friendly is just sexy<3 teehee. This I think would be a worthwhile, guiltless investment. Hopefully they have designs to suit a wide array of preferences:))

sobrang helpful sa mga mommies like me ang mga ganitong bags. its very convenient lalo na may mga need bilhin ng biglaan . aside from that nakakatulong pa tayo sa environment avoiding the use of plastics.

I have one similar to this! :) I think I bought mine from Saizen, it's so convenient because some groceries or shops give only paper bags so it's a definite must have to carry a tote bag!

Any company producing eco friendly products should be patronized. More so now that we have environmental problems. SAC People Bag is a must have. It's not only cute, the appearance made me think it's a cupcake, but also convenient to use.

I agree with Nina, I'm all for supporting businesses/companies like SAC People that have admirable concern for the environment and do something to protect it too. I've been using the reusable totes given for free by some malls when the purchase reaches a certain amount. They serve their purpose well but they don't have the cuteness of SAC bags. :-)

my cousin gave me a bag from SAC for christmas, and she placed it inside a cupcake box! was really looking forward to a cupcake pa naman. :p i've seen this in Megamall, but i usually need eco bags for groceries so i stick with my heavy-duty canvas totes. they're bulky though, so i keep them in the car. so much better than flimsy paper bags!

tip: if you forget to bring an eco bag and need to buy a lot of groceries, ask them to pack the items in boxes instead. groceries always have those from stock deliveries, and it's actually better for them to recycle than to give you paper bags. i do this when buying drinks from 7-11, too.

Oh my this is just so cute! I have two with me LOL but not as cute as this one. Will wait for your update on how much this cost :D Thanks for sharing!

totes bag are totes useful, but for me, unbranded ones will do :D this one sure looks cute, but it would've been better if it was thicker.

I'm all for using recyclables. This one is cute and definitely a conversation piece. Plus point that it's sturdy and can really be used again and again. The ones from the supermarkets tend to be flimsy and look well, generic. This can easily be resolved though. Making a canvas eco-bag is simple. The material is cheap (a yard of canvas does not cost more than 50 pesos in Divisoria) and you can even spruce it up and have it personalized if you're feeling crafty. Now that would be a conversation starter.:-)

I like how we're going eco-friendly. Long overdue but it's good that we're finally catching on. At home, we hardly use plastic anymore. Everywhere we go, I make it a point that we use eco bags. Even soiled clothes, we pack it in these huge, black giveaway bags from Wells Fargo before getting them to the laundromat. Mukhang basura but at least environment-friendly.

The other day I received this type of bag, together with our friends as advance Mother's Day gift. All of us were amazed of how you were able to arrived this type of design. If in case I will buy this product of yours, where can I order? Or if I will apply as a dealer, how can I do that? Many thanks.

Wow this is so awesome, I love convertible bags I will definitely bringing a reusable bags to save on plastic and be eco friendly.

Yes I bring it with me specially when I'm going to SM north edsa.. Instead of buying their Eco bags I'll just bring my own. If you don't want to buy Eco bag they will cover your paid items with paper only. Or buy plastic bag for PHP 2.50
