DKNY Fresh Blossom Intense

If you've always loved the DKNY Delicious scents (as I do!), then I think you'll be pleased to find out that there's a new collection that improves on their best assets. The original scents are radiant and flirty - perfect as they are really - but with the Delicious Eau So Intense Collection you get intensified versions of the brand's three amazing fragrances.

Intriguing eh? It's either the entire concentration of the fragrance has been increased, or one aspect of it has been singled out. I've been using the DKNY Fresh Blossom Eau So Intense these past weeks, and true enough there's a heavier, more sensible edge to the fragrance. It lasts longer on my clothes and skin too!

Rose and lily of the valley notes get more attention in the new Fresh Blossom Eau So Intense. The once-delicate floral, inspired by the fragile but potent blooms on an apple tree, made more nuanced by ramping up the concentration of two of the most celebrated notes in perfumery. The result is a more textural, intense floral bouquet that is long lasting and fresh.

This scent is like a bouquet of flowers in the afternoon. They're not dewy, sparkling fresh anymore because they were picked in the morning, but that's not a bad thing. The sweetish heart of the flowers is just starting to waft out as the sun begins to set - an entirely more sensual experience.

Funny story: I haven't read the marketing literature on the Fresh Blossom Intense when I started using it. I usually spritz my DKNY perfumes four times - one on each shoulder, wrist (I pat some of it behind my ears), then a final cloud of mist for my clothes. I was accustomed to the light touch of the original formula!

That's why I was so confused when the new Fresh Blossom made my nose tingle with irritation. Why did I smell like I dipped myself in a tub of perfume? It took me a few uses to figure out, d'oh. Now I only spritz the DKNY Intense variant two times, once on my wrist then on my clothes.

So yes, these Intense scents are pretty economical to use. :) You must also check out the Be Delicious Eau So Intense (apple and wood) and Golden Delicious Eau So Intense (orange blossom), the two other variants in the collection to see what would suit you best.

And that's it. Do you care for intense perfumes?

Delicious Eau so Intense Collection can be found in all Rustan’s Department Stores, Landmark Department Stores and selected SM Department Stores for P3,600/50 ml and P4,800/100ml.

I've never tried any of DKNY's scents but they look so cute! What caught my attention the most though, are your nails! Are those gradient glitters? Love!

oh my oh my oh my!!!!! i think ive found my signature scent. i ve always loved the be delicious pink kasi un ang gamit ko, kaya lang i have a thing for perfumes, ayoko nang gamitin siya uli kasi it reminds me of a not so pleasant memory so humahanap ako ng iba. pero i think the varation of this at mas intense, i think this will be a good alternative for me without veering away so much from the original formulation.

I honestly didn't like Be Delicious, but this looks about right up my alley, feminine yet not too sweet. Very sophisticated. Nice!

This just gave me an idea on what to buy my friend for her birthday. She's really girly and loves pink! <3

They look so cute! Kinda remind me of a futuristic outlook. I haven't tried any DKNY products. I'm more into Benetton's. Might as well try this one when I ran out of perfume!

Like the other girls, I haven't had the chance to try any of the DKNY scents. I didn't even associate DKNY with perfumes until I read your post. I will check out their original scents and new collection when I have the chance.

Your blog really acquaints me with interesting beauty and grooming products that I feel I have an incomplete day when I don't visit. Thanks for your reviews!

Weee!!! I love this! One of the first scents I loved right from the store and actually finished a bottle of (madali kase ako magsawa sa perfume so rare na nakakaubos). I had the green one. Different pa yung bottle but it's got the same vibe as this one. Love the scent because it's fresh and light but distinct. I always have people asking what I have on when I wear this. Didn't know meron pa pala other variants because they only had the apple/wood when I got mine from Rustan's. Nice to know and for sure it'll be worth a visit. I'm glad you featured this.:-)

Oh my gosh! I missed your blog! Been away for a few days, and I swear I had withdrawal symptoms! Haha!:-) Super happy to be back and reading. Hi Liz!:-)

My ex-boyfriend (now husband) gave me the green one as an anniversary gift a few years back, so I have some lovely memories associated with that one. I remember finding it a bit intense at time, so I'm not sure if I would like a more intense version of the perfume. But this specific variant sound interesting. I might just check out the "normal" version of this one, hehe.

Hi Liz, I've been using Fresh Blossom since December, it was a gift from my bf and I totally love the smell. It's floral but not the common type, there is some sense of uniqueness in it which makes me want to use it everyday. I feel like giving everyone a hug everytime I wear this perfume because the scent is so refreshing; would love to try the intense version too :)

I love how fresh my Pure DKNY in Vanilla smells! Got a mini version of Fresh Blossoms (15 mL I think) for FREE when I hoarded several bottles from Rustan's :)

I love the nice and cute bottle. It was described as A floral fruity fragrance for modern women, Crisp, sweet, juicy, feminine & inebriating, awww I miss sense of smell, it is so sad to have nasal polyp and I don't get to enjoy to smell anymore. :( I love it as well when you post about perfumes and describing it, a big help for someone like me.
