Color Club Professional Nail Lacquers

Today I want to talk about the Color Club Professional Nail Laquers (P310). The distributor, Beauty Lane, kindly sent over a couple of nail polishes for me to try. I've been curious about the brand ever since I heard that it's finally available in the Philippines last year, so I'm only too glad to finally get my hands on 'em!

Okay, first off, they're not exactly cheap. They don't look expensive like O.P.I., Orly, or China Glaze but the price is curiously in the same range. What gives?

Well, the formula is really good. It's thin, smooth, and dries pretty fast (around 20 minutes). The brush is simple and not too dense, so it's easy to maneuver around my nails.

I got Tangerine Scream, which is a gorgeous and complex orange. It's not glossy, matte, or frosty - more like an odd but pretty combination of the three. It has very fine shimmers that look like a pale green in a certain light. It takes three layers for it to be completely opaque, although it actually looks nice as a sheer wash of color. Instead of orange it looks more like a frosty salmon shade with one coat.

The other color I have here is called Pink Pearls. It's a matte, sheer, and nudish color that would be perfect as base for French manicures. It's not something that's ideal to layer with though - it really is designed to be sheer. Forcing the matter will make it look streaky on the second coat.

I like that it makes your nails whiter and pinker without looking like you're actually wearing nail polish. That's something to think about if you just want fresh-looking nails!

Three coats and still sheer

Overall, I like the formula of Color Club nail polishes so I'm interested in trying more shades. Are they worth the P310 price tag? Yes, I believe so! I will buy one if I really like the color. Must visit Watsons soon!

Color Club is available on selected Watsons and PCX outlet and Landmark Makati and Trinoma. Price of the nail lacquer ranges to P310 for the regular bottle and P175 for the Art Club Nail Striper.

For easy ordering, they also offer it on their website. Everyone can register as a REGULAR account and can browse and order the products.

I agree! Do not like this at all. Looks ugly.

I use Cutex Nail Polish all the time. It's ranging from P100-110 pesos only. It's very cool because you can skip the top coat without it looking pale. It looks better without the top coat. Color Club Nail Polish looks nice. But, I don't think I can afford to buy one. Still, thanks for giving us an idea about it <3

Parang it's too pricey tapos hindi sya ganon kaganda? I'd rather choose Orly or Opi over this. Thanks for the review though.
