Shopping is serious
Monday, October 22, 2012 at 3:55PM I was out very early today for work errands. After the serious stuff, I roamed the mall for something I can wear to the Pinkbox event on Wednesday. Preparing for it has been super stressful so I better damn well look good on the day itself! Hehe.
Anyway, it turns out it's hard to look for a classy pink outfit. I went to Zara, Mango, The Ramp, zilch. So I went to the trusty Forever 21 store. There is SO MUCH pink in that place right now! I didn't have much time left so I just grabbed some stuff that would somehow fit the purple/pink theme of the party.
I got this lavender dress for only P619. Yeah I'm not kidding! It was P1,435 originally but a lot of the stuff are on sale at Forever 21 Makati right now. I would love to wear this but I'm not sure if it can still fit the theme. Hmm. Maybe a pink headband can make it work.
Another sale find. This blazer is now only P505. Crazy. It was P1,685 originally. The fit is nice on me, even though the only size left is small.
Ahh, this is the strongest candidate - a hot pink leatherette skirt. Lol. I plan to wear this with a black studded polo and transparent pumps. Nabbed it for P915.
I also went to Regatta upon their invitation and they gave me P3,000 to shop with. I'll be featuring the store separately but for now I just want to show you what I got:
Love the vintage prints! I'm not into prints, but these are the exceptions I suppose. Both shirts are around P1,000 to P1,200-ish if I remember right. I also got this green striped shirt for P795, something to wear on casual days! You should visit Regatta some time, they have really nice stuff pala.
And that's it. By the way, I would like to say a big hello to the Project Vanity reader who approached me in Forever 21 earlier! I am so sorry I didn't get your name! I was in such a rush, I wish we chatted a little more. Next time I hope. :D

I love Regatta! It feels like a local version of Nautica, with the same quality but lower prices. I was able to get this light blue polo from them which looks really smart for around 1K a year back. And I always felt that Forever 21 in Makati has better stock than that in Megamall for some odd reason.
