Kiehl's now open in Powerplant Mall

I have a few Kiehl's products but I haven't taken a serious look at the store before, not really. For instance did you know that they have hair products? They have shampoos, conditioners, volumizer, and even a hair oil very similar to Kerastase at less than half the prize. They also have specialized skincare lines with a heavy focus on natural ingredients like acai berry, amazonian clay, and sunflower oil to name a few.

Inspired by its city of origin, Kiehl's brings a piece of New York in all their stores here in the Philippines. Here's what their space in Rockwell looks like!

Moving Statue of Liberty holding a Kiehl's torch. Cheeky!

The place looks more like a bistro than a beauty store

Food and event styling by TEA with Madeleine. They did such a wonderful job!

Wall of Kiehl's best sellers. The #1 spot is nabbed by the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution and #2 is Midnight Recovery Concentrate (this I will swear by, it's awesome).

The Kiehl's Acai line

Believe it or not, the prices are fairly reasonable for a high-end brand, also given the amount of product you get. Most facial washes, toners, and hair products are at the P1,000-P1,300 range - not cheap but not expensive in the realm of luxe skincare. Moisturizers in 50ml jars are pegged at P1,700. Serums are expensive at P3,000+ but in my experience, they take a veeeery long time to finish off.

I grabbed a few things, thanks to the play money that Kiehl's gave to all the guests.

Kiehl's Super Thick Volumizer. This is amazing - it helps thicken my very thin hair with only a few spritzes. Review soon!

I used the Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleanser a few times but I don't think this is for my skin. Hmm. I'll try it again and see!

Ahh, the best seller! I haven't tried the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution yet since I'm still testing another serum, but this is next in line. I sorely need something to lighten my blemishes.

The Kiehl's Aromatic Blends in Orange Flower & Lychee is an interesting scent. I don't have anything quite like it!

And that's it! Do visit Kiehl's in Rockwell when you get the chance. :) Also, what's your absolute favorite product from Kiehl's? Am curious!

Obsessed with the Ultra Facial line (I am waiting to get the masque next) and I use the Sunflower shampoo.

My all time fave is their lip balm with SPF15. Moisturizes in just seconds! I agree that it takes so lil amount of product to do the job. I've had this for almost a year na and I think I have 3/4 prod left.

It does look like a bistro! How New York!

Kiehl's has got some crazy good products. I go to their store and do not know which one to buy, usually.

Ms. Liz, do you have an idea how much the perfume costs? I'm eyeing on this scent ever since Kiehl's USA launched the Aromatic Blends line. Thanks!

Can't wait for your Super Thick Volumizer review! My mother has been telling me how thin my hair is my entire life, so I really wanna see if it's worth the splurge. Thanks for the consistently great reviews, Liz! :)

My first Kiehl's product was their Lip Balm. It's very effective! My only complaints are: 1) It becomes practically a liquid that just looks like oil in high temperatures, and 2) the tip of the tube packaging can be improved. For personal use, you can't apply the balm directly on your lips from the tube. You need to apply a bit on your finger and use your finger to spread the product on your lips. For professional use, it can be messy to get the ample amount of product.

I'm excited about your review on the Super Thick Volumizer. I have thin hair too and am always on the lookout for products that can make my hair thicker. My eyes are also peeled for that Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution :D

Hi liz, im using the corrective spot serum since May this year, i saw an improvements on my freckles/ dark spots in my cheeks, i had my freckles after giving birth n im not a fan of spf tlga since i always find those spf very oily after n feels a little heavy in my face....so i visited Kiehl's , at first i was hesitant to spend on that bottle kase nga expensive, but the derma who assisted us told me n assured me na mag llighten cya, so thanks to my parents :) they bought it for me n the spf lotion nila in that same line, i honestly made it a habbit to put in on everyday....non greasy cya. This spf n serum is a good investment... Plus the a must try din un exfoliating scrub nila not too harsh sa face, n i feel ang linis ng face ko but non drying after. Very matipid din yun serum tiny drop lang goes a long way tlga:)
