Travel to Japan with the Project Vanity J-Beauty Kit

NOTE: This kit will be fulfilled on August 16

The first time I ever traveled abroad was to Tokyo. It made me fall in love with exploring new cultures, trying new food, and just meeting some amazing people. Of course, beauty shopping is high up in my list of things to do whenever I go to any country. Japan in particular is a paradise for beauty lovers since it is always innovating and setting the trend for others to follow!

Since we’re all home for now, I thought I’d take you to a special trip to Japan by way of their best-selling, iconic beauty finds. Imagine yourself stepping into a cheery store with its own catchy jingle, being greeted with a loud “Irasshaimase!” Imagine getting a little cosmetics basket and thinking there’s no way you can fill it up, and failing lol. Let me introduce to you the Project Vanity J-Beauty Kit (P2,175 here)!

This curated kits contains award-winning beauty staples that you can’t go wrong with. If you step inside any Matsumoto Kiyoshi or Don Quijote store you’re sure to find these prominently displayed in shelves. There’s a reason why they’re so popular, and it is my hope that you can discover this for yourself.

Here’s a quick rundown on what you’ll find in your kawaii strawberry-printed bag:

Canmake Tokyo Stay On Balm Rouge (P620, full-sized). In Japan they favor light makeup that radiates youth. Canmake is a go-to brand for a youthful, trendy vibe that’s for everyday wear. This balm rouge is moisturizing and gives your lips a juicy color. Plus, it features a UV shield to protect the lips!

K-Palette Lasting Semi-Matte Lip Tint OR Semi-Matte Lip Tint Stick (random shades, P795, full-sized). One can’t have too many lippies! These K-Palette ones have a blotted lip, semi-matte finish that doesn’t dry up the lips.

Saborino Morning Minty Fresh OR Morning Fresh Facial Sheet Mask Pack (P295/5 sheets, full-sized). Ever wished your sheet mask can do everything? That’s what Saborino sought out to solve! This sheet mask is already your lotion, milk, essence and mask in one.

Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk SPF50+ PA++++ (two 12ml bottles, P1,071/20ml in retail). Anessa is a Shiseido brand, so expect the best in sun protection without the greasy feel. This is lightweight and goes beautifully under makeup.

Senka Perfect Whip Moist Cleansing Foam (P279/150g, full-sized). This is a pasa-buy staple, so it’s a good thing they’re finally available here! This creates a thick, bouncy foam that leaves skin thoroughly cleansed.

Bioré UV Covering Base - Bright Up (P435/30g, full-sized). Bioré is most famous for their sunscreen, but have you tried their brightening base? Get SPF 50+ PA++++ along with a smoothing, brightening finish in just one tube! All you need is a bit of powder and you’re good to go.

Liese Creamy Bubble Hair Color (P449/100ml, full-sized). Coloring your hair has never been easier with this bubble color you can do at home. If you’re due for a salon visit but can’t go out yet, then this is a must-try.

Hada Labo Hydrating Moist 123 Trial Set (P465 per set). Hada Labo is consistently one of the top skincare brands in Japan. They pioneered the concept of a hydrating toner back when all we had were astringents. If you’ve always been curious, this is a great set to try their 3-step routine.

Here are the travel-sized products included in the kit as well:
