You're invited: Imperfect Yet Empowered, Project Vanity’s 12th Anniversary Event

When I wrote “It's okay to be ugly. What's not okay is to give up on yourself.” last December, I didn’t expect it would resonate with people as much as it did. That’s why when we were thinking of the theme for this year’s 12th Anniversary, we wanted to explore this idea more. In a world where it is impossible to be perfect, what are the ways in which we can empower ourselves?

Imperfect Yet Empowered, happening on March 28, Saturday, at the Rockwell Club from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, will feature honest discussions about what it means to be far from being the ideal person with the Insta-feed life, and how to get out of feeling like we’re never going to be more than who we are or deserve the life we want. We will explore how we can make space for ourselves despite our limitations, and hopefully dismantle this idea that our self-worth is tied to how (conventionally) beautiful we are.

Our special guest is Nina Ellaine Dizon-Cabrera, the indomitable self-made founder of Colourette Cosmetics and Fresh Formula, a woman who has achieved phenomenal success despite her humble beginnings. I will be sitting down with her to find out what drives her and how she was able to accept her imperfections and become her best self.

We will also have Robin Myan A. Dantes, M.D., a psychiatrist, talk about how to overcome our insecurities and how to actively take care of our mental health.

Finally, the Project Vanity Team will have a panel discussion to answer all your burning questions! Makeup artist Kristel Yap will also have a spot by the Project Vanity booth for makeup consultations. Ellana Mineral Cosmetics will also have a booth to give you eyebrow makeovers and tips!

Aside from access to the event and snacks, your ticket also includes a loot bag worth almost P8,000 with products from our generous sponsors: Revlon, Ellana, In Her Element Skincare, K-Palette, Canmake Tokyo, Happy Skin, Colourette, Zenutrients, Zen Zest, blk Cosmetics, Skincare Curator, Belle De Jour Power Planner, Solique Nail Polish, and New Lounge.

Looking forward to seeing you there! Please purchase your tickets here.
