Editor's Picks: Three holiday looks to try for your celebrations

Are you looking for makeup inspo? Well then, you’ve come to the right place! Celebrate the holidays in glamorous style with my handpicked looks from some of the people I follow. These are easy to do at home with products you might already have. Let’s go!

Jill Felix is one of my favorite upcoming local makeup artists. I love her creativity and taste for color play, and it’s demonstrated by this holiday-perfect look. Here she glued on some pink sequins to frame her eyes and use as an eyeliner. To cop it, simply apply your normal cat eye, some falsies, and then glue the small pink sequins in position (which you can find at any craft store) with lash glue. Then, finish it off with a sweet pink lip! This is the perfect Kakampink look to wear to your friend reunion.

Red lipstick is a staple during the holidays, but might I tempt you with a flaming hot pink lipstick instead? This color is having a moment, and my prediction is that it’s going to be around for a while! Russian makeup artist Elena Menshil matched it with a light bronze smoky eyes and fabulous lashes. This kind of pink is such a powerful color, and a statement that everyone can read even from far away.

Natasha Denona is my favorite eyeshadow brand for a reason. Her color selection always makes my heart sing, especially when she busts out the jewel tones. For this look though, I’d like to take the time to admire the monochromatic warm mauve combination here. Usually mauve is a soft, shy color, but here it’s used to its full fierceness. That smoke right by the lashes gives the eyes lift and drama!

And that’s it! I hope you enjoyed these and try them out for your upcoming party. Have a happy, happy Christmas!
