Beauty Roundup: Women’s Month sales, Oscar-worthy eye looks, and Maybelline Philippines’ new IT Girl

It's #GIRLPOWER all month long, ladies! International Women’s Day may have been last March 8, but I say we celebrate being women all day, every single day! To make the month of March even more special for us, a ton of our favorite brands are bringing in sales and new drops! Speaking of celebrating women, Maybelline’s newest IT girl is absolutely gorgeous and we're living for the eye look that debuted on the Oscars red carpet recently. Benefit may have just brought out the perfect cheek palette. Happy reading!

Snoe in the Summer

Snoe Beauty is happily giving us an exciting treat from March 1-18! Have you always been curious to try one of their quirky design goodies? Well, while supplies last, you can avail of their Buy One, Get One promo! This writer is currently well-stocked in the skincare department, but I do have my eye on the Oil For All range, specifically the Maracuja Oil and the Watermelon Oil! I might just stock up on the Make Out Make Up Cleansing Oil, too! Check out which participating branch is nearest you!

Party Like a Lidstar

Aside from gushing over the incredible fashion choices, the Oscars Red Carpet is another fantastic place for makeup. From bold pouts to deep eyes, the makeup looks vary just as much as the award categories and nominees. Which is why it is also the perfect place to debut a new product - just ask Glossier! The brand debuted their new Lidstars ($18) which had been previously sported by Beyonce at the Grammy. Stars like Tracee Ellis Ross, Greta Gerwig, Salma Hayek, and even Oscar winner Allison Janney also showed off the liquid cream hybrid on their peepers.

Made from ultrafine multicolor pearls and coated pigments, the buttery shadow is perfect for smoky looks and for natural pops of color. With six shades to choose from, the possibilities are endless! Choose from Herb (deep green with yellow gold pearls), Fawn (cool taupe), Cub (rose gold), Slip (sheer baby pink), Moon (cream with blueish glimmer), and Lily (sheer lilac). FYI, Beyonce and a bunch of stars seem to love the shade Fawn best! Shop Lidstars here.

I’ll be at the Blush Bar

Who doesn’t love a good blush palette, ey? Well, Benefit Cosmetics is taking the blush palette up a notch by combining ALL their best sellers all in ONE adorably pink (and super girly packaging)! The Blush Bar Palette ($58) is a bit pricier than most blush palettes, but Benefit makes it worth your buck by including five of their best sellers in the cheek department. The palette includes Galifornia (rose gold), Gold Rush (light pink with pearl finish), Dandelion (a classic baby pink), Hoola (iconic bronzer), and Rockateur (mauve pink), and Benefit threw in a flat cheek brush, too! Keep on checking Sephora and Benefit stores for this palette to drop this month!

Loco for the Buko!

I don’t know about you, PV girls, but I love me some coconut! Whether it be coconut scented candles, coconut flavored makeup, or the actual coconut itself, I go crazy for the buko. So when a luxury brand like Marc Jacobs Beauty say they’re going to expand their iconic Coconut Collection, I’m here for it. Since making its debut in 2017, the current collection includes O!Mega Bronze Coconut Perfect Tan Bronzer, Undercover Face Primer, Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter, and the (Re)Cover Perfecting Coconut Setting Mist. The brand will now be adding even more products we already want to buy! According to makeup IG Trendmood1, we can expect the Finish Line Perfecting Coconut Setting Powder in Invisible ($44) and the #EyeshadowPalette Eye-Conic in Fantascene ($49). The Dew Drops and Bronzer will also be getting a revamp in packaging and formulation making us drool with excitement! The Marc Jacobs Beauty Coconut Collection will be available on Sephora on April 24 and in stores on May 11.
