She Got The Pow(d)er!

So basically the Kardashian-Jenners are taking all of our money, yeah? After an amazing first release for her cream contour sticks (despite backlash on how much product was actually inside the containers) Kim Kardashian-West and KKW Beauty are at it again, and this time, they’re getting the hang of this teaser train. Keeping with her “back to basics” and “ultra-simple” makeup routine, KKW Beauty is now going to release Powder Contour and Highlight Kits! Nobody Likes a Copy Cat

It looks like Too Faced is facing yet another painful lawsuit and this time, fans are not having it. Luxury Japanese-inspired beauty brand Tatcha has filed a complaint against Too Faced with regards to the packaging of the latter's Peach Kiss Moisture lipsticks.

As per the allegations, Too Faced plagiarized the signature packaging of Tatcha’s lipsticks, from using a similar shade of gold to the placement of the emblem design. The brand claims that it is causing confusion in the market place as consumers may mistake the Estee Lauder-owned brand’s lipstick for theirs. Tatcha has been using the design since 2015 and are asking that Too Faced stop packaging their lipsticks in a similar-looking bullet.

Glitteratti Came To Party

A statement lip is a fun way to spice up any makeup look. When you’ve got a powerful pout, you feel like you can take over the world (well, at least I feel that way) so when a makeup brand promises to give you that EXTRA for your pout, you pay attention. Kat Von D has broken the stigma of a gritty glittery lip and has come out with a mega game changer. The Glimmer Veil Liquid Lipsticks ($22) promise to not only dry matte, but to last up to 24 hours. It’s vegan-friendly and promises to be smooth, not gritty or textured like most glitter lippies are. Kat Von D teased a striking blue shade called Reverb which only makes us more excited for the other 8 shades (we’re loving Dazzle, which is the perfect festive red shade for Christmas!) All the lipsticks are set to drop online this August 22 and in stores this September.
