It's Okay To Get Gel-ly!

As if coming out with more lippies and eyeshadow palettes weren’t enough, Happy Skin Cosmetics is out to shock us yet again with another beautifully innovated product - gel nail polish! Their new Express Gel Polish comes in 6 super wearable shades, promising long-lasting color, shine and wear. The formula is easy to use and quick drying, perfect for girls who love getting manicures but don’t have the time to sit around and wait for the polish to dry. Grab them for only P250 each at a Happy Skin counter near you!

Tantalizing and Tint(tilating)

Surprise! Pink Sugar's best-selling Sugar Tints now have two new shades! The crowd favorite lip and cheek tints with a mousse-like texture now have 10 shades to choose from. Drop by their counter to check out Sugar Rush, which is a brown-y mauve shade, while No Filter is a deeper maroon. Both are just perfect for the rainy weather and just P349 each.

CARGO-loading

It’s funny how waterproof makeup isn’t just perfect for summer, but for the crazy rainy days we have here in the PH as well. Surely nobody wants to put on a gorgeous face of makeup only to look like a #BasangSisiw later on, right? That’s why we’re stoked that CARGO Cosmetics has now launched their Swimmables Collection! We’re talking hardcore, super waterproof makeup that you could actually swim with! Now available in Beauty Bar, you can score their new Longwear Matte Liquid lipsticks (P995) and Longwear Eye Shadow sticks (P1,050).

The eye shadow sticks come in 8 shades and resemble the famous By Terry Ombre Black Star shadows that were all the rage in the beauty world a couple of years back. They’re pigmented, shimmery, and very buttery on the skin, making them easier to blend. Meanwhile, the matte liquid lipsticks come in 5 shades, ranging from the perfect everyday nude to a vampy maroon. Watch Liz swatch all the shades and give her first impressions here, then head to the Beauty Bar website to get your own baha-proof makeup.

Jo Malone's oak-inspired line

Luxury and beauty go hand in hand when it comes to the brand Jo Malone. With their weighty and minimalist packaging and deliciously deep, gorgeous scents, the brand has solidified its presence here in the Philippines and we were super excited to hear that they have two new fragrances! Inspired by the english oak tree, the Jo Malone English Oak & Redcurrant and English Oak & Hazelnut both feature base notes that include the dry, roasted scent of oakwood.

English Oak & Hazelnut has a heavier, masculine vibe while English Oak & Redcurrant has a brighter, fresher scent. We'll be featuring more about them here on PV soon! The English Oak Collection will available in all Jo Malone stores and stands in September.

PONY Knows Best

Let’s face it: South Korean makeup and skincare are having a real moment, and we’re living for every bit of it. From cushions to serums and two-tone bars to sheet masks, it's been fascinating to see their innovations turn into beauty hits all over the world. And it's not just their products that are spreading the K-beauty influence: cosmetics and skincare giant Clinique has even partnered with famed K-beauty guru PONY!

With almost 3 million followers on YouTube and flawless, youthful skin, the makeup artist and trendsetter shares that one of her favorite moisturizers of all time is Clinique’s Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief. The lightweight and gel-like formulation allows for easy absorption by the skin, and the hyaluronic acid content plumps skin without leaving any tacky residue.

If you’re into ultra hydration and naturally glowy skin, Clinique has also come out with a streamline of products aptly called the #HydrationBar - a collection that includes the Pep-Start HydroBlur (a matte, hydrating primer that blurs and perfects the skin), the Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (PONY’s favorite moisturizer), and the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ (the first dermatologist-developed moisturizer). Check out these products for yourself in any Clinique store near you!

Mad About Marble

From phone cases to laptop covers, gorgeous flat lays to wrapping paper, marble print is on everything! With its clean feel and beautifully laid out pattern of veins, marble may have been around for hundreds of years but this millennial age is eating it right up (and putting it on everything).

Which is why it’s no surprise that Beautyblender is hopping on the marble-encased bandwagon and releasing the cutest, most millennial pink splashed tool - the Beautyblender Swirl. Infusing their signature hot pink shade with a white base, this sponge promises to give the same flawless and seamless blending power of its original counterpart, but with more cuteness. You can shop the new Beautyblender Swirl at Sephora for $20!

The Karrueche Fem Rosa will feature three lip colors, an eyeshadow palette, and a face palette as well.
