It’s Just So Over The Top (Coats)

Since the release of the Too Faced Unicorn lipstick, we’ve been on the hunt for the next magical makeup concoction (say that fast five times). Our quest has been rewarded: Urban Decay has finally dropped what looks to be a game changer for all our lipsticks - the Vice Special Effects Lip Topcoats ($18)! It’s a totally new product that has the ability to transform the color of your lippie into a vibrant, holographic pout. Promising to be longwearing and water-resistant, the gel-cream formula contains marine collagen to make it comfortable on the lips and will be available in 12 shades.

The shades include 3rd Degree (gold glitter), Fever (rose gold), Bruja (dark berry), Circuit (emerald green), Copycat (rich pink), Litter (white glitter), Monarchy (royal blue), Regulate (purple), Reverb (purple with pink glitter), Ritual (blue gray), Seether (orange red), and White Lie (white with blue glitter). The Vice Special Effects Lip Topcoats are set to be released on March 23 on the Urban Decay site and at Sephora on March 31. Anyone else excited to look like a unicorn?!

Please Send Nudes!

There’s nothing better than a flawless complexion complimented by a gorgeous glow, and that’s exactly what Nudestix is sending our way. The makeup stick company, best known for their tin packaging and all-purpose pencils, is bringing us their take on the highlighter. Adorably called the Nudies All Over Face Color ($30), these are matte, water-resistant pigment sticks perfect for every skin tone and every purpose. Designed to be used as a contour, blush, and even cream shadow, these sticks will be perfect for the traveling in the summer! Choose from the shades Bare Back (pink nude), In the Nude (warm nude), Naughty N’ Spice (dusty rose), Bondi Bae (sand nude), and Deep Maple Eh (deep brown).

Aside from these matte hues, they’ve also released the Bronze + Glow hues ($30), which look similar but are a far cry from being matte. These sticks will help you achieve that “just hit the beach” glow, even if you aren’t able to get away from the city. Available in Illumi-Naughty (purple pearl), Hey, Honey (gold), and Brown Sugar, Baby (deeper bronze), these balm-like formulas have a blending brush on the other end so you don’t have to pack an extra tool or worry about getting product on your fingers. Grab one (or all) of these sticks over at Sephora!
