A sparkly new… lawsuit?

Despite soaring to new (and insanely successful) heights, it looks like Kylie Jenner’s journey to a makeup empire isn’t going to be an easy one. Right after the announcement of three new Kylie Lip Kit colors, Kylie Cosmetics was slapped with a lawsuit. Sheree Cosmetics is accusing the brand of copying not just their sparkly shadows, but using the same name as well!

Sheree’s Born To Sparkle eyeshadow palette was created back in September 2017 and features 15 glittery eye shadows. However, the United States Patent and Trademark Office records confirm that their patent was only filed on August 30, 2018, a few days after Kylie’s glitter shadows were launched. Do you think Kylie Cosmetics stole the idea and name? Let us know!

Glow on the go

Let’s face it: the days are getting longer, busier, and a lot more stressful. With so many sources of stress, it may often feel like there aren’t enough hours in a day to do everything! Olay took notice and they’re giving us a new product that will help us avoid skipping our skincare. The Olay Clay Stick Masks ($10) are portable treatments for your skin without the fuss or the mess! The Olay Fresh Reset Pink Mineral Complex Clay Face Mask is great for exfoliation and brightening up your complexion (a great pre-makeup step) while the Olay Glow Boost White Charcoal Clay Face Mask helps liven up dull and tired skin. Lastly, there’s the Olay Pore Detox Black Charcoal Clay Face Mask which draws out oil and dirt from your pores to prevent zits! With packaging that’s perfect for traveling, you might even chuck this into your bag and treat yourself to a masking sesh while stuck in traffic. Here’s hoping they’ll be available in the Philippines soon!
