Scent-Sational

The rising number of COVID-19 cases is the top global concern of the moment, but it’s also bringing out the best in so many different companies. LVMH, the company that owns luxury brands Louis Vuitton, Dior, Givenchy, and more, has committed to producing anti-bacterial hand gels in place of their couture perfumes. The company announced that their perfume factories will now be used to help alleviate the shortage of hand sanitizers, which play a huge role in minimizing the spread of the disease. The gels will then be distributed to hospitals and health centers all over France for free. They also announced that they would be providing this service “for as long as needed” in their official post on Instagram. If they can do it, here’s hoping that more companies around the world will step up and help combat this virus! Cheers to you, LVMH!

A Lash-ting Impression

How did we miss this?! I guess you can add this to your “things I need to try ASAP” list because Anastasia Beverly Hills just dropped their first ever mascara! The cult beauty brand, known for their incredible brow products and palettes, has launched the Lash Brag Volumizing Mascara ($25), a buildable, jet-black mascara that promises fuller, thicker, and more dramatic lashes. Formulated with flexible polymers, this creamy mascara promises to be clump-proof, water-resistant, and long-lasting! Available in the full size and a mini ($13), you can shop the ABH mascara on their website here.

Un-brow-lievable!

If you’ve been too scared to give microblading a try, Urban Decay’s newest product might just be your new BFF. Inked Brow ($26) is a semi-permanent eyebrow gel that is set to last for up to 60 hours! With its angled wand, the product is supposed to help you mimic hair like strokes, similar to microblading. The formula is sweatproof and waterproof, so you can even wear it to the gym or on super hot days without worrying about your brow makeup. And if you make a mistake, don’t worry because the product can be removed with an oil-based makeup remover. Available in 7 shades, we’re curious to see how this’ll survive in the Philippine summer! Shop it from Sephora US here.
