Roses are red; violets are blue; my cleanser is awesome and you’ll love it, too!

Japanese skin care is one of the best in the world, and it’s amazing how they constantly innovate to stay on top. They’ve recently taken facial cleansing to new heights with what is probably the prettiest cleanser to date! You’ve probably seen the viral video of a pump producing a perfectly-shaped rose made of foam circulating on social media a few weeks back, and if you’ve been curious about trying it, it’s now available for purchase. The Evita Beauty Whip by Kanebo was officially launched this September, though it’s currently only available in Japan for now. Initial reviews say that it has a pleasant rose scent that’s not overwhelming, and the cleanser itself is gentle and nourishing to the skin. It’s supposedly designed to suit the needs of more mature women but with such a cute concept, we’d definitely want to nab a bottle or two regardless of our ages.

Lipstick colors designed with the help of a tetrachromat

A tetrachromat is someone who can see up to 100 million colors normal humans can't. So MAC tapped one to help them come up with 22 bold, exciting new colors for their new technogy called Liptensity. This is MAC's most pigmented lipstick to date, resulting in uber rich glossy colors that makes our hearts swoon. Here are Temptalia's full swatches! According to Gay Lao of MAC Philippines, Liptensity will launch in the Philippines this October. We'll keep you updated.

Runway makeup is just a click a way

New York Fashion Week is one of the most awaited events of the year, and with the new See Now/Buy Now model, fashionistas now have the option to buy the clothes even as they watch the being modeled on the runway. Beauty fans are getting into the fun, too, thanks to a new collab between drugstore favorite Maybelline and fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff.

The Fashion Week Kit includes two new products: the Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara and the ExpertWear Mono Eyeshadow in Khaki Camo. Retailing for just $13.99 for both and available exclusively on Amazon, these two can pretty much stand as the entirety of your eye makeup on their own. Maybelline’s mascaras are also some of the best budget picks we’ve ever tried, so we’d definitely want to see how this newbie will hold up compared to Great Lash and Lash Sensational.

The best brush holder - bar none!

When it comes to storing and displaying our makeup, sometimes it’s nice to have something that can hold all the brushes we own within easy reach. Sure, you can toss everything into a mug or an upcycled vase but having their bristles all stuck together can transfer product from brush to brush (you don’t want your used eyeshadow brush getting anywhere near your foundation brush, trust me). Well, the geniuses over at Kit and Hooks devised a new design to safely store and display your favorite tools with the Brush Bar!

Retailing at $25 at the brand’s website, the stand keeps brushes in an upright position with specially designed slots. That way, you can easily view your collection, grab what you need, and ensure that you don’t destroy your brushes by storing them the wrong end down (it deforms the bristles). It can hold up to 40 brushes with the unique matrix design, so you can easily fit brush handles of different sizes in.
