This Season’s MAC-ness

When it comes to all things glamorous and fabulous, MAC Cosmetics is a frontrunner in the beauty world. From crazy collections to adorable packaging, the brand knows their market and exactly how to tickle our fancies, which is why the latest releases from MAC are having us jumping for joy! Their signature Eye Brows Styler (P1,100) is finally getting a spoolie at the end, making kilay application quicker and easier. They’re also stepping up their matte game with the new Prep + Prime Fix+ Mist (P1,250) which sets your makeup without the shine! If texture is your issue, there’s also the Prep + Prime Pore Refiner Stick (P1,600) which gives flawless skin on the go.

The Complete Concealer

Too Faced is at it again! Just when we thought they were done with all things shocking and new, the brand is now serving us some serious concealer goals that have us ready with wallets in hand. The Born This Way Super Coverage Concealer ($29) is a long-lasting, light wear and full coverage moisturizing concealer that aims to conceal, sculpt, and highlight. Yes, you read that right! With no photo flashback, the highly pigmented concealer can cancel out anything, from dark circles to blemishes and discoloration. The easy-blend formula makes sculpting in a contour a dream as well (you have to get a darker shade, of course) while lighter shades make for the perfect matte highlighter. With 20 shades to choose from, you can be sure there’s a perfect match for you. Set to launch on June 26, the new concealer will be available on the Too Faced website and Sephora.

Oh Happy (Foundation) Day!

Ever since Riri showed that it can be done, brands have been trying their best to make beauty more inclusive. That's why Benefit Cosmetics’ launch of a new foundation initially had people wondering: why 12 shades? The Hello Happy Foundation ($29) is a lightweight texture foundation that is buildable and breathable on the skin. It blurs pores and gives a flawless (but not cakey) finish. According to Benefit, the 12 shades in the range “stretch” to match multiple skin tones, and that formula is designed to closely mimic skin. Fans of the no-makeup look can check out this new face base at Benefit stores and counters!
