This is how my first time using the cult fave Baby Foot mask went

Real talk: the soles of my feet had gotten to a point where the thick callouses catch threads when I drag them through my Tencel bed sheets. I’ve been ignoring this for a while but it’s really gotten to a point where the dead skin is starting to annoy me! So, it was the perfect opportunity to give the new Baby Foot Peel in Peach Scent (Limited Edition) (P830 in Lazada/Shopee) a try.

It’s my first time ever to use Baby Foot. Aside from the dead skin, I also wanted to know if it can help lighten some of the dark areas of my feet especially around the toes. My skin gets easily traumatized kasi even when I just wear tight shoes, hence my toes tend to look rather uneven.

I made a TikTok video so you can see the complete process unfold:

@projectvanitycom 🚨 Gross feet videos ahead. I’m now a #BabyFoot stan! This mask infused with strong acids made a huge difference on my damaged feet 😧 get this from @Beautybox Corp. #projectvanity #projectvanitycom #footmaskpeeling #footmask #footspa #beautytokph #foryoupage #fyp ♬ original sound - projectvanitycom

So yes, it totally works! This mask uses fruit acids to exfoliate the skin on a deeper level. It’s completely painless despite what it looks, by the way, so don’t worry about it! It took three days for me to see any peeling, and then from there it’s a week of a LOT of dead skin coming off. Then it’s another week for some more micropeeling before the process is completely over.

It honestly didn’t affect my daily life as much as I thought. As I said it’s painless, and you don’t really feel the skin coming off at all. It can be a little off-putting to see all the dead skin on the floor but it’s easy enough to clean up. You can hasten the process by scrubbing with a loofah, if you wanted.

How to use Baby Foot:

  1. Wash your feet with soap and water and dry it completely. Then, put the mask on and secure with tape.

  2. Wait for an hour for the mask essence to soak through the skin. You can wear socks so that you can walk around if you need to.

  3. After one hour, rinse your feet, dry, and apply lotion.

  4. Wait for the magic to happen! Peeling will start in a few days and most of it will be over in a week’s time. It’s different for everyone!

The end result was amazing. My feet lightened and all the main callouses were softer afterwards. I would want to use this every month, but the brand says that it’s best to use it every quarter (three months) if I remember correctly. I think two more uses and my feet would indeed look like a baby’s, so long as I don’t damage my skin in the interim.

So yes, try out Baby Foot if you want deep exfoliation you can do at home. All the raves are true!
