A lovely pinky nude: The Inglot HD Lip Tint Matte in #17
The matte lip obsession is far from over as Inglot, a famous Polish cosmetics brand, throws their hat in the ring with the new HD Lip Tint Matte (P1,150). So is it a strong contender?
I didn't get into liquid matte lipsticks because honestly, they are so uncomfortable to wear. You know what I mean! A true shine-free liquid lippie feels crusty when it dries and looks so caked up, with cracks showing every which way. I don't have dry lips but I look like I do whenever I have one of those things on.
But Inglot's HD Lip Tint Matte is different. It dries into a pleasantly flexible finish, and is pigmented enough to be opaque in one swipe. It has a thin watery texture that's glossy at first but becomes ultra matte when dry. It's not moisturizing per se but it's definitely not as dehydrating on the lips as others of its kind.
Staying power is pretty good, too. It can last through a meal with very minor fading, and barely transfers on most surfaces. You can drink or kiss somebody without leaving a mark. Being aggressive, however, is another thing entirely! Haha.
The color with me, #17, is a beatiful brown-based nude with a touch of pink. The brown is strong enough that it doesn't wash me out, even with light eye and cheek makeup. It's a nude that's actually lovely to wear by itself. I think this would look fab on light to warm medium skin like mine.
The catch: if you have severely dry, flaky lips, this won't look so hot on you. If you have moderately dry lips, you can let a balm sink in first and dry before applying this lippie.
So yes, I have finally found a true matte liquid lipstick that I really like! You can find the Inglot HD Lip Tint Matte in Inglot stores in GF Glorietta 5, SM Megamall and SM Mall of Asia.
Thoughts? What are your ultimate matte (and I mean, MATTE) liquid lipstick picks?
