OOTD: The basic green parka

Most of my jackets look too dressy or office-y to be worn often so recently I decided to look for something I can just throw over everything. I was actually thinking of getting a proper leather jacket - I seem to have misplaced my old one - but grabbed this green parka at Topshop instead. The fit is nice plus, it was on sale! ^_^

I love how this opens up new possibilities for my clothes. I have a lot of cute dresses which I never wear precisely because they're too cute. Something rough-looking like a military green parka should tone down the frilliness of many of my things, like this flouncy floral dress from Stradivarius.

PS These Ferretti wedges are the comfiest things EVER. They're uber light (of course) and aren't steep on the feet. Might get the black version of these too, I wear these nude ones all the freakin' time.
