Unboxing: The Pixy Exclusive BDJ Box
The Pixy BDJ Exclusive Box just arrived in everyone's doorsteps last Saturday but there's already a lot of buzz around it. Why? Because it's filled to the brim with full-sized products! There are three lipsticks, three foundations, one blush, mascara, and eyeliner. Seriously, who wouldn't be happy to receive a full makeup kit for only P580? That's why BDJ Box is such an awesome service to subscribe to!
But wait, what is Pixy? It's a new drugstore brand set to arrive soon in the Philippines. It's huge in Indonesia with its Japanese-themed cosmetics and super affordable prices. Elsewhere, they are distributed by Mandom Beauty, a Tokyo-based company famous for products such as Gatsby, Bifesta, and Lucido-L, to name a few.
Pixy's prices here range from P265 to around P500 only. It's not yet available anywhere in the PH at the moment, but it will be out in major drugstore chains soon. ;) So check it out then! In the meantime, consider this as the sneakiest of previews.
Are you ready to see what's inside?
Why, hello there! Love the pink packaging. Even though the price is super affordable, the products do not look like it. If I didn't know how much they really cost, I'd have thought they're mid-range. That's how relatively nice the boxes and plastic compacts/tubes are.
Inside: the Pixy UV Whitening Two Way Cake Perfect Fit (P275) and Perfect Matte (Refill, P145) | Ultimate Makeup Cake Foundation (P445) | Silky Fit Lipstick Semi Matte (P265) | Silky Fit Lipstick Satin (P245) | Lasting Matte Lipstick (P325) | Colors of Delight Blush On (P285)| Volumizing Waterproof Mascara (P295) | Eyeliner Pencil (P265)
The formula looks promising as well. I immediately swiped on the lipsticks and liked how creamy, slinky, and fairly pigmented they are! I also love the colors I got. The lippies do have a strong fruity smell, but I can live with it. The lipsticks are just P265 after all.
Silky Fit Lipstick Semi-Matte, Silky Fit Lipstick Satin, and Lasting Matte Lipstick
Pretty colors: Autumn Apricot (Satin), Haruka (Semi Matte), Pink Smoothie (Lasting Matte)
I'm admittedly a bit of a foundation snob, but I'm curious to see what a P275 foundation can do for me. Aren't you? It's been ages since I last wore foundation in this price range but I'm always looking to be surprised. ;)
So there you go! Is there anything you wanna try ASAP? Let's discuss in the comments!
