Lipstick Week: Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick

I realize that, in a lot of ways, I'm not a likeable person. I've been working on my likeability for years now and while I think I've achieved a modest amount of success in that regard, I'm never going to be one of those women other people just take to. I guess it's because for me, it's important that we know where we both stand before we can have any meaningful interaction. I don't have much time to waste (I wish I do) and if we're not on the same page then, well, we're not. No harm done. Let's move on.

(I bet that just made you like me less haha, but that's okay! We'll survive it!)

Anyway today I wanna quickly talk about the Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick (P350), which was introduced to bloggers by Sample Room recently. I'm sure you've seen the giveaways and the swatches! There are LOTS of exciting, intense colors in this collection, but to simplify I've chosen the three I like the most.

The Ultimate Wear Lipstick is a slim tube packed with this staining pigment that wears well throughout the day. It has a dry texture (even drier for colors with a matte finish), but I'm happy to say that it's not drying. It's still best to wear a lip balm though!

Arm swatches are super rich and pigmented but on the lips I find I need to layer it a few times to get full opacity. I don't really mind, however, as I have even-colored lips. If you have dark-rimmed or uneven lip pigmentation though you might want to stick to the darker colors in this collection as the lighter ones might not have enough coverage.

Scent could be better - it has a slight waxy smell typical of inexpensive lipsticks. It also feels a bit waxy on the lips when worn.

But - COLORS! Check out these swatches!

Peaches and Passion under the Bianca Valerio exclusive collection (hence the different packaging, which I btw love more than the black tube! It's so fresh to look at!)

Peaches and Passion is somehow delicate and bright at the same time. Love it! Although, it does require a bit of layering.

Tickle Me Pink is a bright bubblegum pink that's not too cool for us with Asian skin. It's matte and opaque! Love the staying power of this particular shade.

Queen Bee, part of the regular collection, is a bright blue-toned cherry red with a satin finish. Very chic.

Overall, the Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick is a nice formula if you're looking for something that wears well during the day (about 4 hours) and leaves an even stain afterwards. The pigmentation and texture of the lippies vary from shade to shade, so make sure to swatch/research your chosen colors first before ordering from your Tupperware seller. I highly recommend Peaches & Passion, it's easy to wear and I'm sure it'll brighten your complexion in a jiffy!

What do you think? ;) You can order from Colour Collection via Tupperware distributors. Here is the full list of branches for your reference.
