Hurraw! Grapefruit Lip Balm

Young people these days are all "I don't know what I want to do with my life!" If I ever hear you say that, you will get a long, long talk from me. You should avoid living a meaningless life with no direction, no clear-cut goals. I firmly believe that we all know what we want to do for the rest of our lives, right now, except that we're too afraid to fail at it.

For many of us, pipe dreams are better than failed ones. It's easier to keep a Nebulous Some Day close to our heart, when everything we ever wanted will come true. It's easier to make excuses. But anything worth doing is never easy so just suck it up and do it! Whatever regrets may come of it, at least you'd end up knowing what you can do and who you are exactly. Then maybe you'll try again when you're ready or move on to the next dream.

Anyhoo, I just want to review the Hurraw! Grapefruit Lip Balm (P250 from Cutieverse). This is a reaaaallllly nice lip balm - it's light on the lips, buttery, and moisturizing. It's citrusy grapefruit scent is refreshing and not overly chemical. The oblong tube is also pretty genius (albeit strange), since the shape easily fits the contours of my lips.

The selling point of Hurraw! is that it's organic and "wildcrafted". I'm not big on organic, "all-natural" products to be honest, but Hurraw!'s quality is pretty good with or without those come-hither details. I also like that the lip balms come in all sorts of interesting flavors like Chai Spice, Earl Grey Tea, Cinnamon, Lime, Almond, and so on!

The staying power of the balm is just normal, at two to three hours before it dries up completely. I do appreciate that it doesn't feel flaky and hard once it has evaporated. It leaves my lips feeling nice and moist even when it's all gone.

Need to note - this variant has no minty tingle whatsoever. I like it in my lip balms but I'm also fine without it. :)

Sorry for the blurry pic! Grapefruit has no tint whatsoever, but if you're looking for a little color, other variants have it (like Black Cherry)

Overall, the Hurraw! Grapefruit Lip Balm is easily one of my favorite lip balms at the moment. :) I highly recommend it if you're looking for a new lip balm to try.

Hurraw! is locally distributed by Cutieverse.

I'm interested to try this! I'm a sucker for mint lip balms, and i know this isn't but i bet it feels good! Strange how the grapefruit is color orange. My visual and olfactory senses might be confused. Haha. But it looks cute! If there is a minty flavor in here, i will totally buy! I'm loving my lip ice in lemon (which you also like) and eos in sweet mint. I will check their site now. I just voted, btw! God bless! =)

Thanks for voting Marie - super appreciate it! Re the lip balm, unfortunately, Grapefruit has no minty flavor to it. Maybe the other variants? Ask Cutieverse na lang!

I actually like organic lip balms (lip sticks- not so much cos their staying power usually sucks) because I actually consume 1 lip balm a month and the thought of ingesting a non-organic lip balm per month sorta creeps me out. hehehehe will try this out soon. it does look yummy. haha :)

Ahhh I was sold on the chai spice flavor and then checked out the website to see even more amazing variants!
Will definitely try at least one of these. Which one would be the difficult question haha

I love lip balms with flavored ones with yummy scent and taste. ♥
My thoughts about the introduction:
When young people say I don't know what to do with my life, and they do not know what course to get in college or what they want to be, Most people change their major in college, Lots of people don't know what the want to be when they grow up even adults still cannot make up minds on what they want to do. I am already turning 30 with 3 kids, a nurse but sometimes there are days that I still do not know what to do with my life.

I learned so much in life with experienced that told me so and it is true that "DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND YOU'LL NEVER WORK A DAY" If you have a hobby that you love, like blogging just figure out how you can make money at that and figure out what skills you need to make it happen.

Also Yes, it’s a wonderful goal to strive for finding work that you enjoy. In fact, it should be a goal for everyone but Work is called work because it’s not play, I guess it is also one the reason that young ones do not know how to figure it out and even old ones having problem.

Anyhoo, Thank you for always inspiring us to your blog ♥ Keep it up! Voting for you 10x daily. Good luck and More Power.

Amusing way of segueing into the topic of lip balm. :))

I try to have a little fun with my lip balms. I've tried chocolate, vanilla, and coffee. Fun flavors. Bonus points if they taste as nice as they look or are at least flavorless. I hated Bonne Belle because the lip glosses smelled great but tasted terrible. Mabuti pang flavorless na lang. Still have some EOS stocked in the fridge (since they're notorious for melting in the heat), but I've heard of this brand. Want to try their Almond or Earl Grey.

With lip balms, I only get the all-natural ones because I don't like having mineral oils on the lips. Just a personal preference though. Besides, some all-natural options are about the same price as the regular kind.
