Eau De Lacoste Pour Femme: Crisp like cotton, fresh like sparkling water

My world is full of glamorous, beautiful people. It's ridiculously easy to envy them and even try to compete with them, but I know that the road to misery is down that way. I am not them nor will I ever be exactly like them. Do I regret that? Honestly, no. In my 25 years so far I've learned that I should appreciate what I have instead of wishing I have something else. :) My life is good and there is much to be thankful for. Why should I beat myself up over a good thing?

Try it, you'll be happier in the end.

So that's my thought bubble for the day. ^_^ Moving on to the review! Today I have the Eau De Lacoste Pour Femme on the hot seat. It's a crisp, fresh fragrance with a bouquet of flowers underneath the initial green zing. It makes me think of a garden picnic, with a cotton table cloth, vases of fresh blooms, and a light herby menu!

A soft sensual feminine fragrance, evoking the fresh feeling of white pure cotton on skin. EAU DE LACOSTE is built on a classical fragrance structure, where the fragrance evolves smoothly from top to base notes over time, but superimposing modern ingredients on traditional ingredients, to generate a much lighter fragrance profile.

The lasting power is pretty good on me, at about for hours before it fades. It has a warm, woody base and that lingers on after the floral notes pass. This is great for women who like feminine yet down-to-earth scents. You can wear this to the office or even at an evening affair! It's warm enough for elegant engagements, I think, but it's not too heavy.

So there you go! You can find Eau De Lacoste in Rustan's Department Store and other leading department stores. It retails for P3,000 /30ml, P4,250/50ml, and P5,650/90ml.

The packaging is so clean looking, like their apparels, classic and minimalist. I will def. check this scent once i pass by their store, and i will surely remember you when i see this one. Hehe. Like like like the packaging. Nurse na nurse like me. Hehe. Anyway, you are such a pro at describing perfume scents. Maybe you could show us one day your perfume collection. =) Have a great day ahead! And your intro is the killer. Everyone should reflect on it. #TOTD (thoughtoftheday). Hehe =)

I suddenly remembered the lesson from The Myth of Sisyphus which I learned today. We should be contented and happy and think ahead, we shouldn't waste time thinking I could've done this or that. Instead, find happiness in ourselves.

here, here! That's a very good life motto to live by. Lacoste makes very good scents, indeed :)

I was like WOW on your opening wordz. Now it makes me appreciate people around me more. Anw the perfume looks so clazzy except on how it looks like a bulb at first glance lolz. Anyway I think this is more of my type when it comes to perfume. Like the "just-gotten-out-from-the-shower" smell, kasi I am so picky when it comes to perfumes, I even pinch my nose upon applying some scents that were given to me because I get dizzy when I smell them too much lol. Kaso this is as I always say, out of my league, haha I mean out of my reach. :D But since my brother is a perfume enthusiast, I'll definitely recommend him to check your blog for this review, maybe in month or so, I'll be able to smell this na because he'll buy sample sizes of this. Thanks for your review Liz, after all the makeup junkie-ness, you inject something else in my Project Vanity routine. :D

I love the introduction of the post I agree that the world is full of glamorous, beautiful people and its easy to envy them and even try to compete with them but if you choose that road to misery is down that way. It's about being yourself and being happy for who we are now and try not to be somebody else we are not just so people will like us and no matter what we do we cannot really please all people that being want to be successful like someone we see on top is not easy. It's a very good eye opener for most of us which I love about your blog that you inspired people but yet to remind them that no matter who we become and how top blogger or celebrities or any personalities that we should always just be happy to where we came from the start and be humble and down to earth as much as possible.

As for the Eau De Lacoste Pour Femme: Crisp like cotton, fresh like sparkling water I really admire that cute bottle, I just wish I could get my smell back and get a surgery for these nasal polyp but I will definitely want that just for the cute bottle that would be fabulous on my vanity.

I do agree about being thankful for what we have instead of focusing on what we don't have ! About the fragrance, it sounds so good, I'd give it a try...and the bottle is super cute, too !

It looks like a classy, chic light bulb. :D Curious about this scent. I remember a couple of years back, a guy approached me and my friends while we're going home from our training and handed me a Lacoste Touch of Pink bottle. He said they were giving it away daw, free. We saw that he was carrying a paper bag with some more bottles. I got excited because I love the commercial of this perfume. But suddenly, everybody started asking for a bottle, that the guy snatched the bottle from my friend (she borrowed it to look at it closely), said that it's not free after all, and hurried off. Naisip ko nga at that time: sayang! Maybe we came off as too greedy? Or those were not real Lacoste perfumes? It's kind of weird nga eh, for somebody to give you a full-sized bottle of expensive perfume. And that was not inside a mall pa. Or maybe there's something in the perfume. It's good that we haven't sprayed it yet.
