MAC Fluidline Brow Gelcreme in Dirty Blonde

When I saw the promo materials for the MAC Fluidline Brow Gelcreme in Dirty Blonde (P1,100) I knew that we were destined to be together. I thought, with absoute certainty, that everything was gonna work out between the two of us.

I was correct. This product was exactly as I imagined it would be - super creamy, long-lasting, and flattering on my skin and hair. Well, I wasn't that surprised because I've been using my MAC Fluidline eyeliner in Dipdown as an eyebrow product for a while now. You should check out the tutorial, the results are pretty amazing. ;)

I have a lot of excellent eyebrow products but I love the Fluidline Brow in Dirty Blonde because it's easier to control. I barely have to tweak or blend it out once I've shaded my brows! The level of pigmentation and color is so exact that once you draw it on, it looks perfect as is - on me anyway.

Did my brows here in less than a minute. One layer, no blending after.

Some eyebrow products you have to lighten by blending, or dye over with a brow mascara. Dirty Blonde looks great once you figure out how to get your preferred opacity. At first I thought it was too light but I realized that it's best applied with a heavy hand - rather, a normal hand, the way you would write or draw eyeliner. You know how sometimes you have to consciously watch your hand when applying makeup? No need to do that with this product.

Love using this Charm eyebrow brush with the Fluidline.

Oh but why am I rambling about that! Dirty Blonde is exactly as the name proclaims - a dirty blonde, with a strong brown base. I think this is the mid-color in the collection (came out last February I believe) so expect it to work with many skin tones and hair colors in the fair to mid-tone range.

The texture is super duper buttery and creamy. You can even use this as cream eyeshadow! I have tried it as such, and it's such a gorgeous color on the lids, a little bit like the MAC Soba eyeshadow.

MAC Soba. It's darker in person - I love using this as a crease contour shade. Incidentally, Soba is also a popular eyebrow color!

I believe that the Fluidline Brow has a long-wearing formula. Once it sets, it just stays stuck there until you rub heavily and/or apply makeup remover. I'm confident enough to recommend it to oily brows, but make sure to clear the area of oil before applying the Fluidline. Otherwise it won't stick and set.

So yes, I highly recommend the MAC Fluidline Brow Gelcreme in Dirty Blonde to just about anyone (fair to mid-toned) who wants a flattering brow color that sticks. I purchased this from MAC Mall of Asia last month, so I'm not sure if it's still available since it's part of a collection (Stylish Brows). Hm. I'll update you if it's still for sale locally. If not, you can ask resellers to look for you! Just got word from MAC Philippines. It is sold out everywhere, even in the US. Nooooo. I should have hoarded when I had the chance!

I hope MAC makes this permanent like they did with Candy Yum Yum. It's only a matter of time! *x fingers*

What's your current brow product? Do you like switching 'em up?
