Éclat d’Arpège Gourmandise Lanvin
Monday, March 4, 2013 at 12:41PM Sweet yet well-rounded - that's the Éclat d’Arpège Gourmandise Lanvin (P2,998/ 50ml). It's invigorating upon first spray with Sicillian lemon and lavender smoothly scenting the skin, but then it develops into a sweet glow of green tea and peach blossom. It comes down to a musky cedarwood and amber base which I find stays with me all day.

The packaging is quite playful and girly, something that Lanvin (as a fashion house) is best best known for. Strings of illustrated candy surround a hazy lavender globe. A topper with a huge faux gem crown this limited edition bottle of delight. It's like a gaudy bauble from a princess's table, don't you think?

I highly recommend this to girls who like musky scents with a layered light saccharine top. It's a sophisticated fragrance - don't let the toy-like bottle fool you! This would be the kind of person who looks too frilly and empty-headed at first glance, but turns out to be smart and discerning once you get to know her. ;)
So there you go! Does this look like something you'd try?
Éclat d’Arpège Gourmandise Lanvin Fragrance is available in all major department stores (Landmark, Robinsons Department Stores, Rustans Department Stores & SM Department Stores) for PHP 2,998 50ml.

Agh, that looks like it would smell so good. I can imagine the notes already. Beautiful bottle to boot!
I can imagine how it really smells like and the bottle is so fab! :)
Love the packaging! I love Lanvin but I don't think I'd buy their perfume. Although this bottle could very well sell itself cos it's so cute!!
The bottle is adorbs! But IMHO, it does not represent the musky scent. I mean if I judge it by the bottle, i would expect it to be fruity-floral.:)
@LIan top scents are quite floral with some fruit notes thrown in! but base is musky; not that heavy naman but it's the one that will stay on.
the packaging is so fabuluos, I wanted to be add in my collection of fragrances.:)
Oh, might as well check this out. I have a feeling na i'll like it. Thanks Liz!
Hi Liz! have you tried Lanvin Eclat D'Arpege, the predecessor? how would you compare it to this? I've finished my bottle of Eclat D'Arpege and I loved it to bits. Curious to know how you'd compare the two -- would you say that this is a flirtier, younger sister of the original?
It's curious how this perfume evolves from the time you spray it to the time it settles. Sayang wala sa Market-Market? I'll check at SM when I pass by.
This is something my old self would buy. I've stopped using perfumes a long time ago because of my migraine and sniffles. So sad! Still hoping to finally use one again. Perfumed balms are my go-to for the meantime.
oh my god....what a beautiful bottle

"This would be the kind of person who looks too frilly and empty-headed at first glance, but turns out to be smart and discerning once you get to know her." Love this line!! And ang ganda ng packaging. It looks promising <3
Jeanne by Lanvin is also good (released a few years ago) the scent that stays is floral :) their packaging evolved though...its cuter now than before ;)
The Éclat d’Arpège Gourmandise Lanvin really bears the marks of another subtle but playful Lanvin product - especially the packaging, which reminds me of the Eclat Summer. I hope the scent, as you describe it, would bring out a princessy-type of fragrance for all girls - like the feeling that you are Cinderella going to the ball! Of course, the topper ensures that the clicking and the spraying will be extra-delightful!
hi liz just curious....i'm a fan of this perfume line. Is it really way too different from that mother and child logo perfume they have, because that bottle of mine i guess kinda doesn't have that staying power whenever i'm using it. Does this new version has the improvement regarding the staying power while on used? tnx in advance liz. :)
I find Eclat d'Arpege to have such a pleasant summer-y scent. It's fun and youthful. :) Can't wait to get a sniff of this. The description is exciting. Haha! And I remember the first time I opened the Lanvin plastic container. It actually took me a whole 15 minutes to figure out how to get the bottle out. :p

I've had the pleasure of trying Eclat d'Arpege Limited Edition and thought it was the perfect summer scent. It smelled sweet and citrusy, reminding me of a pretty garden with fruit-bearing trees. The description for Gourmandise makes me want to catch a whiff. Lemon, peach, and green tea are some of my fave scents. I wonder how those go together.
Also, they have such clever packaging. The first time I got the plastic box, it took me a whole 10 minutes to figure out how to open it. Haha!
I love the bottle. Especially the candies. *O*
