Majolica Majorca Brow and Lash Colorist in BR555

I didn't want to review the Majolica Majorca Brow and Lash Colorist in BR555 (P595) initially because it looked weird on me when I tried it on. What this does is it tints eyebrows (and lashes if you're so inclined), turning them into a reddish-brownish color. It's cool if you dye your hair but if, like me, you choose to remain in your natural brown-black hair, then this looks odd when worn by itself.

However! I am very happy to report that I've found a way to make this look utterly fantastic on me. :P Lol. Sorry I'm just excited. I received a lot of compliments on my brows since I started using this just last week. It gives me Preview magazine-worthy kilay, and here's how!

It's super simple - I just wear apply my normal eyebrow powder or pencil and then I brush a bit of the Majo B&LC on my brow hair. Just one coat is enough to give me sliiiightly lighter brows as the mascara blends in with my darker layer of brow color. I also love that the B&LC keeps my brows in place the whole day since it's waterproof.

Used on top of the K-Palette Lasting 2-Way Eyebrow

I make sure to wipe off the excess product from the wand before working it in my brows. The trick is to apply the lightest, most even layer possible so as not to make the brows appear too reddish.

The B&LC isn't just for brows; it can also be used on lashes, although I won't recommend it. I mean, it's only a small tube. Just use a proper mascara on your lashes and save the B&LC just for your eyebrows. Lash King, for example, now comes in brown.

And that's it really! I think you'll love the Majolica Majorca Brow and Lash Colorist in BR555 if you like slightly lighter and impeccably groomed eyebrows. It's only P595 too, which makes it cheaper than the more popular alternative, the MAC Brow Set in Girl Boy (which comes off a golden blonde). :)

So what do you think? How do you like to do your brows, I'm curious!

Looks amazing!

I haven't tried any brow products. I thought that there was really no use for it but I've learned from my mistakes and now I know better. Brow makeup really makes a LOT of difference from your look. Anyway, after following your blog for more than a year now I finally took courage and bought my first brow liner from Avon's glimmerstick line. I wanted the In2it brow set (which you highly recommend) however it was out of stock last weekened on Watson's Market Market branch. I will try again this weekend and hopefully (crossing my fingers) its in stock by then.

thanks for reviewing this! i wanted to get this since you mentioned it about 3 posts ago but the Watsons Ayala Cebu does not have #1 SA assigned to its Majo counter and #2 Majolica Majorca Brow and Lash Colorist in BR555 or even the other shade.

And you really look good with that makeup..its really maganda...hope you can do a tutorial :D

Ive been intrigued by the brow set from MAC because of so many raves about it. Good to know this is a good alternative, and way more affordable. I might try this after Im done with my current brow gel. The one from Etude that works well too. Costs around 300 ish lang :)

I've been wanting to try this! Thanks for the review--great tips to keep in mind if I ever get around to sampling it. :) I've a question, how'd you apply this on your brows? Did you just brush it following the direction of your eyebrow hair or did you also brush against your brow hair's direction? :) I've heard the latter's a good tip when using any brow tint.

Hmm maybe you could do a side by side comparison of the three most famous eyebrow mascaras? Mac, Etude and Majo.

I've been hearing a lot of reviews about this. Majolica Majorca has just opened a booth here in Davao, so definitely, a parcel of my payday will go to this product. Thanks a lot for that very helpful information! :)
