NOTD: Pastel wallpaper
Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 7:33AM As you know, I super love Etude House nail polishes. They're cheap, they're opaque, they dry fast, and come in such pretty colors! I immediately tried the nail polish they sent me the other day, the powder blue one. It's nice but the color didn't really flatter my skin tone. Solution? Nail art! Or at least, what could pass for it. :P

I just put a stripe of pastel yellow in the center then added a thinner line of pink on top. Yes i know, nothing ground breaking, but I do like how cute the color combination is. It makes me think of pretty wallpaper.

And that's my attempt at nail art. :D

Totally lol-ed because you said "nothing groundbreaking." It's cute, though! Love the pastels and I agree, Etude polishes are pretty good quality stuff! :) I can barely do a regular manicure on my right hand because my left shakes a lot while I'm applying polish. Huhu

Ingenious. hahaha This may look simple, but it never even crossed my mind to try this! Now I've seen how pretty this looks, I may attempt (emphasis on attempt haha) it once I get some colors that go well with each other :) You've also convinced me to get nail polishes from Etude House hehe I have one from The Face Shop already and one from Tony Moly. TFS nail polishes need several coats for a pretty effect. Tony Moly's is nice, but not quick drying. So I'll give Etude House a shot :D Thanks for sharing!
Nice! I don't like pastel colors on my nails because they do nothing for my skin tone, but I just realized they can be pretty when you mix them up like this!
OMG! It's so pretty!!! I heart it!!! ^__^
wow! they are simple yet really cute! yes, if you don't like the color alone on your nails, do nail art. I hope I can do mine one day since I have these "pasmado" hands, I always mess up with my nails :\
That is just WOW! I don't apply nail polish on my hands but I always ensure that my toe nails are always covered with nail polish. These color/design is very pleasing to the eye. They actually look edible as in marshmallow and has a calming effect like rainbow. I have to try these but first will but those nail polish at etude. Thanks for the awesome idea, Ms. Liz :)
Wow! You make it look so easy with these candy colored nail polish.
Perfect Easter nails! I love Etude House polish too!
