Lancome's Complexion Finder

Up to this day, the Lancome Teint Miracle is one of my favorite foundations of all time. It gives me radiant skin, with excellent coverage and the dreamiest of textures. Everyone should try it, budget allowing! It's totally worth the splurge.

What I like most about it though is the perfect shade match. Some foundations can be slightly off my skintone, but this Lancome foundie in O-04 is my exact medium-yellow shade. Surprising, right, considering that Lancome is a European brand! You'd think it would be the last one to understand Asian skin.

I got my match by swatching at the store, but if you just want to browse online, you can check out Lancome's new app: the Complexion Finder. It's pretty neat - you can find your complexion (tip: if you're Asian, choose among the Asian models), get product recos, and watch tutorials on how to apply foundation.

Actually, watching the video tips alone is worth the few minutes you'll spend on this app. ;) I learned a few tricks about applying liquid foundation! So yes, do check it out.

Watching the video tips was like watching magic. The models' skins became flawless after application of just a dot of foundation! Amazing. And I like how they included three different methods of applying foundation. I personally prefer using a damp sponge.
