Hello from the Project Vanity team! Thanks for dropping by.

Shu Uemura Creamy Dome Blusher in Fairy Pink

I love makeup - not just products per se but the whole process of painting it on. It's a calming and deeply satisfying activity for me, so I don't mind setting aside some time for it. However, I gotta admit that I have lazy days too. There are days when makeup is the last thing on my mind, so I turn to no-brainer products that take only seconds to put on perfectly.

My latest discovery under this department is the Shu Uemura Creamy Dome Blusher in Fairy Pink. It's a cream to powder blush that has a very soft finish, so you don't need to blend it much or even use any tools. Just swipe and go! It's a godsend for hectic and/or lazy makeup days because it takes only all of 10 seconds to wear this.

Fairy Prink is a peachy pink shade that's not too pigmented - it's just right. I usually swipe across my cheeks twice to get a natural pink flush. I blend it outwards with two fingers, just in one quick stroke, and it looks good already. If you want a deeper blush, just add more product, although you have to take care not to put too much as it will look cakey.

This blush's lasting powder can be improved as it's only good for 3-4 hours in our weather. However, you can extend the lasting power of this product by setting it with a light coat of translucent powder or a similarly-colored powder blush.

Fairy Pink is gorgeous! It's such a dainty peachy pink color that will look best on fair skin tones. If you're medium though, you can just layer a bit more to make it show up better.

Oh, I imagine that the dome shape will flatten as you use this, but when that day comes, just use your fingers as you would with any cream blush in a pan.

Overall, it's a nice product for those who are always busy and/or always lazy. :P Quick, gorgeous, and fool-proof, the Shu Uemura Dome Blusher in Fairy Pink is a nice addition to anyone's kikay kit.
