Earth Therapeutics Loofah Exfoliating Soap in Oatmeal & Honey

Whew, what a busy Friday. How's yours? Hope you're going somewhere fun tonight. :D I just want to pop in and share a review on a soap I am loving right now: the Earth Therapeutics Loofah Exfoliating Soap in Oatmeal & Honey (price to follow).

I'm the type who can't take a proper bath without using a loofah. It makes me feel cleaner, as if all the dirt and grime are completely washed away. My usual routine is liquid soap + loofah. Simple really but a loofah soap like the one for Earth Therapeutics simplifies my bath routine even more!

It smells like honey, as promised. It's very relaxing in the bath but don't expect the scent to linger outside.

Now, I've tried other exfoliating soaps before but this one actually exfoliates. It doesn't have meaningless scrubs just thrown in the formula for texture; this one has loofah bits that really rub the dirt off. They feel rough, but not so much as to be uncomfortable. I sometimes follow through with a plastic loofah to get a rich lather going.

Downside: my skin feels a bit tight after using this soap. I make sure to apply lots of moisturizer afterwards!

You can see the loofah fibers inside. They must dissolve because I don't notice them on the bathroom floor.

Overall, the Earth Therapeutics Loofah Exfoliating Soap in Oatmeal & Honey is nice soap that truly exfoliates and smells just like honey. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for something along those lines. However, if you have dry skin, a gentler soap or body scrub would be more appropriate (like the Snoe White Beauty Bar in Exfoliating Oatmeal). :)

Do you use exfoliating soaps? Or do you do a soap then scrub routine?

You can find Earth Therapeutics in Beauty Bar.

I don't use soap scrub instead I alternate using Soap Opera's Glutathione&Arbutin Body Scrub and St.Ives Fresh Skin Scrub. Soap Opera has closed so I try to 'save' my scrub since I won't be getting that one anymore. Then I follow up a Body wash -- J&J Milk bath. I exfoliate once a week because my sensitive skin tends to itch if I scrub more than once a week.

But because of this review, I think I might consider a soap scrub :)

Thanks Ms.Liz! :) I am a new follower of your blog!

Same here! I use liquid soap + loofah to exfoliate my skin. Would love to try these though. Hope you can update the price. Thanks!

YEHEY!!!!
Thank you so much Liz for this review.
Ive been waiting for this ever since you showed your haul.

I'm a super fan of oatmeal soaps but nothing came close to Passion Oatmeal soap that Metro Gaisano used to carry. That was my HG soap! :(
The problem with most oatmeal soaps I've tried is they're itchy, leave a film behind or melt easily. And they don't do much to solve my bacne.

When I saw this, I wanted to try it but I held back because 1. Price (100+ I believe) 2. Unsure about it's 'exfoliating' qualities.
So this review is super appreciated.

Thank you thank you!!!!

Wow, two shower regimes in one! This reminds me of my Erasul soap, which I use ritually every morning after waking up. Very effective in washing off excess oil and dirt. It also minimizes my pimples and blackheads too! :) Thank you for this review Ms. Liz!

I'm a loofah girl as well, I really get what you mean when you said that you feel much more clean if you used a loofah...hehehe

This soap reminded me of college days when I used to buy this green loofah soap because I have oily skin. I don't use loofah anymore when I use the loofah soap. Again, I'm anxious to try this. Beauty Bar, here I come!
