Majolica Majorca Cream Pencil Eyeliner

If you haven't noticed by now, I am a fan of Majolica Majorca. I'm impressed by the quality of their products, especially by the fact that they come in affordable prices. The Majolica Majorca Cream Pencil Eyeliner (P595) is not an exception - it's a smudge-proof and water-proof eyeliner, perfect for our humid weather.

What I love about the product

  • Doesn't budge even when worn all day. It's smudge-proof and more or less water-proof.
  • Pigmented, it goes on a matte black in one swipe.
  • Since it's a pencil eyeliner, it's easy and convenient to use. I particularly like using this when I'm in a hurry to leave the house or when I need to apply makeup in the car.
  • Lovely packaging, as can be expected from a Majolica Majorca product.
  • Affordable at only P595.

What I don't like about the product

  • Because of the budge-proof formula, this eyeliner can feel a teeny bit dry. It tugs at the lids a little, but it's nothing you can't solve by warming up the tip with your fingers.

Do you find that you need to set your eyeliner with eyeshadow just so it wouldn't budge? If you don't like eyeliners that are too creamy or those that take a while to dry up, I highly recommend the Majolica Majorca Cream Pencil Eyeliner. It's not as buttery at MAC, Urban Decay, or Makeup Forever, but it has the same reliable staying power and pigmentation at almost half the price.

Love it. I use this whenever it's extra humid since I know it'll stay put no matter what I do! It's a great substitute for expensive brands, and in any case, the caveat I mentioned is minor and easy to fix. Overall a great matte black eyeliner you can depend on.

I'll try this one. I'm tired of setting my eyeliner all the time because it smudges on my eyelids, ruining the clean line.

@Mia e great question! well, i also love the In2It eyeliner, but it can be difficult to get a precise line since the product to gel-y, if you know what I mean. the Majolica Majorca Cream Pencil is better in terms of getting a more precise line since it's easier to control due to the harder texture.

That's not to say that one is better than the other overall; each has its strengths and weaknesses. Although I remember you telling me, is it true that the IN2IT eyeliner doesn't have a black version?

@Nika it smudges a tiny bit on the lower lid. it doesn't last more than four hours on the waterline unfortunately. but overall still reliable.

@Allure Majo is easier to sharpen. although it's also hard to take off without the proper remover.

@Alice whee! tell me how it goes, ok?

Omg awesome, I've been looking for a smudge proof and waterproof pencil liner. Does it hold true for use on your waterline as well? >A< I kinda nabbed this MAC black eyeliner from my mom but it smudges a whole lot so I'm not fond of using it. >A< I would really like a good eyeliner to use on my waterline specially since I wear contact lenses a lot.

Wow, waterproof and smudge proof. Nice product.

I think I'll try this. I'm really no good with liquid liners.

Heya Kat! This one from Majolica lasts around 2-3 hours on the waterline before it disappears. Although the good part is, it doesn't smudge like crazy. It just sort of gets...diffused. Hard to describe. Use the Urban Decay 24/7 liner, that will stay put all day!

@bea hope this works for you!

: D Ah thank you so much for the suggestion but I unfortunately don't know where to buy urban decay products in our country or at least an online seller that would sell their products cheaper XD I'll give the Majo Majo one a try if ever since weee budget >3< ;;I only ever ended up buying brand items because of other relatives. Anywho I'll have to definitely try this out myself and see if I won't get panda eyes.

They do! Saw it at PCX Rockwell and I love it. I actually have all three colors and they really are waterproof. I agree with the precision thing because it's too gel-y. I noticed that you have to sharpen the product very frequently so mauubos din agad. I'll probably try this when I run out. :)

Thanks! :)

Hi, my husband who have no idea what Majo majo is, just told me that he saw the brand in sm department store. I asked him how did he know about it, he said that he was looking at the brand name while waiting for me, because he thinks it's a strange name for a make up brand. cute.
