VMV Hypoallergenics Armada Face Cover 30
Monday, November 28, 2011 at 9:20AM I'm not going to scare you into using sunscreen. Seriously, you won't die extra ugly if you don't wear sunscreen. You'll just have a few sunspots, more wrinkles, and uneven skin, but really, nothing life-threatening!
Now we have that out of the way, let me tell you about my new sunscreen discovery, the VMV Hypoallergenics Armada Face Cover 30. It's great! Now I understand why it's such a popular SPF product, after years of hearing about it from friends and magazines extolling its virtues.

The VMV Armada is a non-greasy, light day moisturizer that protects your face from sun damage while offering maximum comfort. It doesn't feel like a blanket of oil and sweat on my face. Better yet, it didn't break me out! I find that most SPF products give me pimples, but that's not the case with the Armada. It didn't block my pores either.
One other thing I like about it is that it doesn't have gross, hard to blend white streaks when I spread it on. It's almost gel-like, actually, and gets absorbed quickly by my skin into a dry finish.

I recommend this to oily-skinned ladies with sensitive skin who need something that won't make them oil up more. If you're dry-skinned though, you might need something creamier and more emollient.
Overall, great stuff! I love it. It's a great substitute to my Clinique Derma White sunblock, which is twice the price of the Armada. I prefer using the Clinique under makeup though, since it acts as a primer too. I like using the Armada when I don't wear makeup out of the house.
Tried this? Wanna try? Let me know!

I use Garnier Light Complete as my daily facial moisturizer and it leaves white streaks on my face. I want to try this! :)

sunplay variants is my current fave under it is olay natural white uv fairness a little of both does not leave white streaks...i loved this b4 but somehow when i they are always out of stock in galleria last year i decided to look for another and thats where i get to try neutrogena and sunplay.....i have a question liz....if i use different products with UVA/UVB protection and others with spf levels do they add up to the sun protection factor in blocking the harmful rays of the sun and its damaging effects? i asked cant avpid to go out at high noon as my work starts at 3 pm...so im out of the house when the sun is unforgiving...
i use that! (well, yung 60spf, but still.) works great!
My mom loves this brand though she uses the Armada with the higher spf since she plays golf often. In my opinion she looks great with it. I've never actually tried to use it though and it's kinda pricey for me so I'll probably wait till vmv goes on sale again. Thanks for the review ^^
i've tried a lot of sunscreens already. vmv is one of the best but there's one i recently discovered that tops them all - mustela. it's organic, gives a nice glow even under makeup, so good for your skin too.
I wanna try this! Super sensitive ang skin kko when it comes to sunblock. I had allergic reactions to Nivea sunblocks which is sad.:( been looking for a sunscreen which is suited for sensitive skin. Might try this one. I hope it works..*fingerscrossed*
