Review: Mineraux Beach Tan Bronzer

I wasn’t able to attend the event but Ms Melissa of Mineraux was kind enough to send me their mineral makeup to review. I got the under eye concealer, foundation and bronzing powder. I’ve been using the items for more than a week and I have to say that the Beach Tan Bronzer is my favorite, hands down.

I wouldn’t call this a “bronzer” per se since it’s more like a…complexion enhancer. As you can see in the swatches, the color is quite nude. When applied, there’s a pretty shimmer that shows on your skin which gives it a subtle glow. I love it! You can dust it on your cheeks for a natural morena blush OR apply a light veil all over your face to give it warmth. Oh, and you can also use it as an eyeshadow.

I actually replaced my NARS Super Orgasm blush with this budget-friendly cheek color. It’s not as long-lasting and pigmented as NARS, but it just works so well with my skin tone that I don’t mind reapplying around lunch time. It’s only P330 for 10 grams (by volume, not by weight) so it’ll take some time before I run out. As with all mineral makeup, a little goes a long way.

Nikki of Askmewhats loves this product as well. The Mineraux people weren’t kidding when they said that this bronzer is their best seller (along with the mineral foundation). I strongly suggest you try this—with the price and the benefits of mineral makeup, you really can’t lose.

FOTD: Artdeco Camouflage Cream Concealer, Mineraux Mineral Foundation in Warm Fair (too white for me, as you can see. Argh!), Ellana Almond finishing powder, Mineraux Beach Tan Bronzer, 28-neutral eyeshadow palette, In2It eyebrow powder, Clinique High Impact SPF 15 Lipstick in 19 Extreme Pink

Visit the Mineraux website to check out their other products. Thanks again Ms Melissa!
