The Johnson's brand has been known to cater to babies and children but now they’ve expanded their market to include women who are after beautiful skin. If you like Johnson’s simple and straightforward approach to babies’ body care (and I do - I use their baby shampoo), you will love their new offering of body lotions specifically designed to address the needs of Filipina women.
Johnson’s tapped the country’s best young designers to showcase their new line in an elegant fashion show. It was hosted by Karen Pamintuan, who wore a creamy dress designed by Debbie Co:
Here are some of the highlights of the show, dresses I particularly liked:
Gauzy dress by Debbie Co
Bronze dress by Rosanna Ocampo
I really like Debbie Co’s style, out of all the designers featured in the launch. Debbie Co is the one in the middle wearing a beige-tan tube dress just oozing style and sophistication.

Beautiful skin! Nikki, Shen, Phoebe
Whew! All in all, it was a fun event with good food and nice ambiance. I got to hang out a little with my favorite beauty bloggers and also met Maris, a young lifestyle writer for Manila Standard. Everyone came home with three full-sized bottles of Johnson’s newest lotions. Parting shot: noticed the shoes? All of them are from Janilyn! This brand is definitely stepping up their game. Check out their new collection in walk-in stores located in major malls and stands in department stores.
